This little neat part is based on a new effect, which was invented by Monte Carlos. He finally coded this part around it together with our good pal Rap/Success on the X-Party 2000. Music was made by The DJ. By the way... this upscroller isn't as simple as it may appears to you, so make sure you take a closer look. 09.03.2026 - New footage of WIP C64 game 'Parallaxian' (Mar. 2026)Parallaxian by John Woods is a vertical shooter in development, that will be the first ever combining a vertical parallax effect within a horizontally scrolling parallaxed landscape. There was no news about the development for quite a while, but now the developer has uploaded a new video with the note that the game nears completion and play testers are now starting to send feedback. The video shows the latest WIP build of the technical testbed, this time showcasing planet Alpinia for a change of scenery from all that desert landscaping of previous previews.
