05.10.2026 - Plus/4 game 'Skool Daze' released - free for download
'Skool Daze' was a major classic on the ZX Spectrum and C64, and the school mischief simulator has finally arrived on the Plus/4 as well. Step back into school as Eric, a mischievous pupil with a catapult and a report card that needs fixing! Attend lessons, dodge angry teachers, uncover the safe combination, and cause plenty of classroom chaos along the way. This Commodore Plus/4 adaptation brings Skool Daze to life with refreshed graphics, new music, and lively sound effects. Can you outsmart the staff before the punishment lines pile up?

30.09.2026 - Plus/4 game 'Stardew Pond' released - free for download
'Stardew Pond' is a small farming game for the Plus/4: a farm that has gone to seed, a village with a store and a blacksmith, three villagers to make friends with, and a mine with thirty floors of rock, ore and monsters, over one year. Stardew Pond is modelled on Stardew Valley by Eric Barone (ConcernedApe), released in 2016, but it is a much smaller game. A fan-made proof of concept - how much of such a game gets onto a 1984 home computer.

24.09.2026 - Plus/4 game 'Stake.io!' released - free for download
'Stake.io!' is a real-time strategy game for the Commodore Plus/4. Send troops between neighbouring territories, capture factories and forts, and conquer all 40 maps. Three difficulty levels and randomized starting positions keep each campaign different. The game is based on the mobile game State.io by Casual Azur Games and the first piece in the "Proky Casual Series".

21.09.2026 - Plus/4 game 'Phoenix Clone' released - free for download
'Phoenix Clone' is a Plus/4 rebuild of the Atari 2600 version of the classic coin-op Phoenix, the 1980 fixed shooter video game developed and published for arcades. Included are all five waves, the force field, the mothership, two-voice sound with the arcade melodies, and a starfield that scrolls a pixel at a time.

20.09.2026 - Plus/4 game 'Star Force' released - free for download
'Star Force' is a Commodore Plus/4 port of the classic 1979 Commodore PET game by Professor Satoshi Matsuoka. You can choose between black/white, black/amber and black/green monitor, and you also can switch between original PET and Plus/4 charset. It also has a "graphical" port - same game, same engine, but in multicolor mode, which was not available at Commodore PET machines.

18.09.2026 - Plus/4 game 'Cuthbert in Castle Wolfenstein' released - free for download
'Cuthbert in Castle Wolfenstein' is not a new, official Cuthbert adventure from Microdeal, but a real First Person Shooter. Made for the Commodore Plus/4, the game takes Cuthbert through ten levels below the castle. Connected chambers and passages give way to a pillared hall, a ring-shaped courtyard, galleries and laboratory blocks. The job stays the same: collect every treasure chest and live long enough to reach the next level.

14.09.2026 - Plus/4 game 'The Tower of Evil 2' released - free for download
'The Tower of Evil 2' is a newly released sequel to the arcade adventure game released in 1985 by Creative Sparks, of which the re-released version from Alternative Software was the only one that worked on the Plus/4. Now we get smoother movement, more levels - it's the same game, just with more content.

14.09.2026 - Plus/4 game 'Cut the Crap!' released - free for download
'Cut the Crap!' is a mouse-controlled arcade game for the Commodore Plus/4. Slice the useless items in half, keep the useful ones, and be sure to avoid the bomb! Unfortunately, due to the nature of the game, you can only play using a mouse - even when using an emulator.

14.09.2026 - 'Mels Disco Bassoon' - adventure for C64, C16, Plus/4 and VIC-20 released
'Mels Disco Bassoon' is a novel little puzzle game, with versions for the Atari400/800, C64, C16, VIC-20, ZX Spectrum, MSDOS, or Windows/Linux via SDL. The computer generates a random band name for Mel, and scatters the letters across the screen. Your task is to collect the letters in order, to progress to the next level. The new name is one letter longer on each level. You can get the game as digital download for a bargain (name your own price) to support the developer.

13.09.2026 - Plus/4 game 'Ponk Reload 2026' released - free for download
Once you've tried using a mouse on the Plus/4, it's hard to go back. To avoid withdrawal symptoms, you can try out 'Ponk Reload 2026', a reimagining of the 1995 game Ponk, which itself was remake of a C64 game called Magic Tile. The game now features mouse support and some cosmetic upgrades.

12.09.2026 - Plus/4 adventures 'Castle Quest' and 'Iowa Jack and the Crystals of Chaos' released - free for download
Richard J. Derocher, who is a well-known game creator – primarily of adventure games – has chosen to bring two of his classics to the TED platform: Castle Quest and Iowa Jack and the Crystals of Chaos. Both games feature a parser stripped down to the bare essentials to make the genre truly accessible to everyone, alongside graphics and music of a caliber rarely seen in this type of game. Castle Quest is an expanded version of a game by the same author titled "Tiny Quest", originally created for the VIC-20: save the princess and grab the loot. Iowa Jack and the Crystals of Chaos feels like the big brother of the previous titles; while the parser remains as simple as ever, the story and supplementary content are significantly more substantial, "perfect for newcomers to the genre, or advanced players who want a quick adventure break" (cit.). It is an adventure game that catapults you into a story with a distinctively 1980s, Lucas-style vibe.

05.09.2026 - 'The Demon Jar' - adventure for C64, Plus/4 and Amiga released - free for download
'The Demon Jar' is a retro-style text adventure game in the format of a horror short story. You play the part of a young gentleman, Oswald Stanley, travelling to visit an old college friend on a fine summer's evening at the height of the Victorian era. As the night progresses, events take a sinister turn with the emergence of a murderous evil spirit. What follows will chill Oswald to the very marrow, but will you be able to guide him safely through the night? This game is made with DAAD adventure writing system and besides a version for C64, Plus/4 and Amiga, there are also versions for Amstrad, Atari ST, Spectrum, MSX and PC-DOS.

31.08.2026 - 'Uchotos' - game for C64 and Plus/4 released - free for download
'Uchotos' is a classic arcade platformer. Avoid or shoot the enemies and collect all stars on screen to reach the next level. Uchotos is the newest game by Japanese developer Inufuto and as always, there are several version for different computer systems. The Plus/4 version can be downloaded here.

30.08.2026 - Plus/4 game 'Paddle Shooter: War At Jupiter' released - free for download
'Paddle Shooter: War At Jupiter' is a shooting game for two players and an updated version of 2008's Paddle Shooter. The interesting thing about this version is the MIDI music, which requires custom hardware: a MIDI OUT card. Be sure to watch the YouTube video to hear what it sounds like! The schematics and Arduino source files are included.

22.08.2026 - 'TFREAX' - game for C64, C16/Plus4 and VIC-20 released
'TFREAX' is a fast paced shoot-em up, adding new twists to a familiar theme. Besides the Commodore versions, there are also versions for Atari 400/800, ZX Spectrum, MS-DOS, or Windows/Linux via SDL. The VIC-20 version is just 3k! You can get all ports of the game as digital download for a bargain (name your own price) to support the developer.
