12.01.2026 - 'Ghosts'N Goblins Arcade Version' - port for Plus/4 released - free for downloadIf you believe that the 1986 16K release of Ghosts 'n Goblins didn't do justice to the original game, you had a long 40 years to wait. In 2026, TCFS is here to make us proud: Ghosts'N Goblins Arcade Version is now available for Commodore Plus/4. Ghosts'N Goblins Arcade Version is a technical marvel on all levels. It's hard to believe your eyes! From the advanced sprite engine running at solid, high frame rates, to the seamless fastloaders, the wonderful graphics with enhanced TED colors, and the soundtrack, this is as good as Commodore Plus/4 games get. While many individuals contributed their decades-old knowledge and talent, the real hero is TCFS himself, who is responsible for most of what you're seeing.
07.01.2026 - Plus/4 game 'The Pit (Arcade)' released - free for downloadThe Pit is a remake of a classic coin-op arcade game of Zylex/Centuri from 1982. The Plus/4 port is based on the 1983 C64 version, but differs from it in several aspects, mainly to improve playability. The mentioned cracker (Obscure) is the author himself, who wanted to honor his past in this way. In the game the player controls an astronaut explorer who must dig through underground tunnels on an alien planet, collect gems and escape while avoiding falling rocks and robots.
17.12.2025 - 'Carcer' - game for C64 and Plus/4 released'Carcer' is a puzzle game by Haplo (maker of 'Shift', 'Tenebra', ''Ooze: The Escape' and 'Caim'), where your goal is to escape the dungeons, but there's a catch... each step you take, you need to drop a coin behind you. You can't move with zero coins but you can always go back and pick up the coins you have dropped. You can get the game, which is also available for 8-bit Ataris, as digital download for little money (name your own price) to support the developer.
08.12.2025 - Plus/4 game '5 Card Stud' released - free for download'5 Card Stud' is a Plus/4 adaption of Five Card Stud, the earliest form of the card game stud poker, originating during the American Civil War. Client implementation for the netplay with FujiNet, where to read the list of available TNFS servers, and the available Game Lobby servers. Written by Thomas Cherryhomes AKA tschak.
30.11.2025 - Plus/4 game 'Stab 'N Dash' released - free for download'Stab 'N Dash' by Csabo and KiCHY, featuring a stunning title screen by The Sarge, is a "Rush 'N Attack" / "Green Beret" inspired no-longer-untitled side-scrolling action stabber. Armed only with your trusty knife, fight through hordes of enemies across 4 stages to rescue the prisoners. The game also has 256k support: on machines with (at least) 256k RAM, it will function as a single-file game; no loading after the initial load.
26.11.2025 - Plus/4 emulator YAPE 1.2.7 releasedYAPE is a decent no-nonsense Plus/4 emulator thats being developed for 10+ years. It is available in Windows as well as multiplatform editions. Another batch of bugs have been fixed and some new functionality was added, too. Here are the details: - new 64-bit 'Developer' build with trace window instead of the old 32-bit one, - more informative trace window, - new asynchronous keyboard input mode (positional mapping) as a fallback for DirectInput, - added option to turn off legacy (old MMSYSTEM based) joystick support, - improved TV vertical retrace emulation, - proper CRC checksum for 1581 disk headers (drive ROM no more patched), - better aspect ratio with multiline menu bars, - SID card detection via paddle port, - saving to video without sound now works, - IEC folder directory bugfix, - tape play & stop button sense regressions, - odd tape load error caused by long pulses
25.11.2025 - 'Capture C16' - game for C16 / Plus/4 released - free for download'Capture C16' is a challenging puzzle, and difficult to beat when one plays against the computer. The game was originally written in Dartmouth BASIC in 1976 for mainframe and teletype terminal, and appeared in People's Computers magazine in the July/August 1977 issue. This new C16 version is based on a PET version from Oglesby's 1980 book "PET Games and Recreations". It has added color and sound, and it's converted for C16 PETSCII characters and video RAM.
09.11.2025 - Plus/4 game 'Landit' released - free for download'Landit' is a modern remake of an old BASIC game 'Land It' from 1999 by the same author. Land your aircraft on different levels before the fuel runs out.
30.10.2025 - Plus/4 game 'Geography Europe' released - free for downloadIn 'Geography Europe', a new Plus/4 game written completely in machine language, you fly a helicopter over a map of Europe and have to find cities before the timer runs out. The game is similar to an older Commodore 64 game by Radarsoft.
29.10.2025 - New 'Green Beret' port for C16 released - free for downloadAfter the disastrous version of Green Beret for C16 from 1986, there is now a brand new port of the famous 1985 run and gun /hack and slash arcade game developed and published by Konami. It features: All four full-length arcade maps, via multi-load, smooth real-time scrolling, detailed multi-colour graphics, using more of the machine's 121 colours, soft sprite masking so there aren't big blue blocks around characters, flame thrower, rocket launcher and grenades, all ground enemies (including kickboxer, dogs, grenadiers, cannons) and Theme music.

20.08.2025 - 'Svellas' - game for C16 / Plus/4 and C64 released - free for download'Svellas' is another arcade maze game written by the well known Japanese developer Inufuto. The game was not only released for the mentioned Commodore computers, but also for over 50 other 8-bit systems. Collect all the stars on each level to progress. The twist this time is that you can use "lifts" to move around between different sections of the maze. Avoid the ghosts.
