30.11.2025 - Plus/4 game 'Stab 'N Dash' released - free for download
'Stab 'N Dash' by Csabo and KiCHY, featuring a stunning title screen by The Sarge, is a "Rush 'N Attack" / "Green Beret" inspired no-longer-untitled side-scrolling action stabber. Armed only with your trusty knife, fight through hordes of enemies across 4 stages to rescue the prisoners. The game also has 256k support: on machines with (at least) 256k RAM, it will function as a single-file game; no loading after the initial load.

26.11.2025 - Plus/4 emulator YAPE 1.2.7 released
YAPE is a decent no-nonsense Plus/4 emulator thats being developed for 10+ years. It is available in Windows as well as multiplatform editions. Another batch of bugs have been fixed and some new functionality was added, too. Here are the details: - new 64-bit 'Developer' build with trace window instead of the old 32-bit one, - more informative trace window, - new asynchronous keyboard input mode (positional mapping) as a fallback for DirectInput, - added option to turn off legacy (old MMSYSTEM based) joystick support, - improved TV vertical retrace emulation, - proper CRC checksum for 1581 disk headers (drive ROM no more patched), - better aspect ratio with multiline menu bars, - SID card detection via paddle port, - saving to video without sound now works, - IEC folder directory bugfix, - tape play & stop button sense regressions, - odd tape load error caused by long pulses

25.11.2025 - 'Capture C16' - game for C16 / Plus/4 released - free for download
'Capture C16' is a challenging puzzle, and difficult to beat when one plays against the computer. The game was originally written in Dartmouth BASIC in 1976 for mainframe and teletype terminal, and appeared in People's Computers magazine in the July/August 1977 issue. This new C16 version is based on a PET version from Oglesby's 1980 book "PET Games and Recreations". It has added color and sound, and it's converted for C16 PETSCII characters and video RAM.

09.11.2025 - Plus/4 game 'Landit' released - free for download
'Landit' is a modern remake of an old BASIC game 'Land It' from 1999 by the same author. Land your aircraft on different levels before the fuel runs out.

30.10.2025 - Plus/4 game 'Geography Europe' released - free for download
In 'Geography Europe', a new Plus/4 game written completely in machine language, you fly a helicopter over a map of Europe and have to find cities before the timer runs out. The game is similar to an older Commodore 64 game by Radarsoft.

29.10.2025 - New 'Green Beret' port for C16 released - free for download
After the disastrous version of Green Beret for C16 from 1986, there is now a brand new port of the famous 1985 run and gun /hack and slash arcade game developed and published by Konami. It features: All four full-length arcade maps, via multi-load, smooth real-time scrolling, detailed multi-colour graphics, using more of the machine's 121 colours, soft sprite masking so there aren't big blue blocks around characters, flame thrower, rocket launcher and grenades, all ground enemies (including kickboxer, dogs, grenadiers, cannons) and Theme music.

23.10.2025 - 'Sperrbildschirm' - game for 8-bit Commodore machines released as free download
'Sperrbildschirm' is a puzzle game for Commodore PET, C64, C128, and Plus4 as well as C16.. Can you crack the code? A strange new machine has arrived. 15.10.2025 - 'Freax' - game for C64, VIC-20 and C16 / Plus/4 released
Freax is a simple alien shootem-up game in the style of Invaders that compiles for the VIC20 (unexpanded), C64 & C16/ Plus/4. It is very playable, and yet it is only 2K in size! You can get the game as digital download for a bargain (name your own price) to support the developer.

'Death Sector' is a sci-fi themed arcade puzzler for your Commodore Plus/4 or 64K expanded C16/C116. Your spaceship miraculously survives a crash during warp speed, and you find yourself in an unknown sector with no signs of life. Can you pilot through this desolate place, uncover its mysteries, and perhaps find a way back to safety? Death Sector offers unique challenges and atmospheric, story-focused gameplay.

21.08.2025 - 'The Librarian 3' - game for C16 / Plus/4 released - free for download
So soon after the second part, another welcome surprise: RoePipi is back with The Librarian 3! The game series is now a trilogy, and the third chapter takes an unexpected dark turn. It's night time, and Zombies are attacking your little sanctuary of books, ready to devour the written word. The game is a third-person flip-screen shooter rendered in PETSCII graphics...

20.08.2025 - 'Svellas' - game for C16 / Plus/4 and C64 released - free for download
'Svellas' is another arcade maze game written by the well known Japanese developer Inufuto. The game was not only released for the mentioned Commodore computers, but also for over 50 other 8-bit systems. Collect all the stars on each level to progress. The twist this time is that you can use "lifts" to move around between different sections of the maze. Avoid the ghosts. 12.08.2025 - Plus/4 game 'Zodiac Deluxe' released - free for download
Zodiac is a game from 1986, where you have to collect 12 zodiac signs in a nearly 400 screen large labirynth. Now there is an an updated version of it released by Csabo/LOD that contains many changes and extras.

01.08.2025 - 'The Librarian 2' - game for C16 / Plus/4 released - free for download
She's back: our experienced librarian is still fulfilling the requests of visiting readers by retrieving topic-appropriate books from the shelves. Supporting this work is a lightning-fast computer that offers three tips for each question, pointing to the most likely subject area. There's also a small booklet (a condensed version of the Universal Decimal Classification) listing all major topics in English, in neat order. 23.07.2025 - Plus/4 version of 'Dragon Wars' recovered
Dragon Wars is a fantasy role-playing video game published by Interplay Productions in 1989 for several systems including C64 and Amiga. This game was only rumoured to exist for Plus/4 until July 2025, when it was recovered from old disks. It's incomplete but playable.

20.07.2025 - Plus/4 game 'Donkey Kong' - free for download
'Donkey Kong' for Plus/4 is a great port of the classic arcade game, which Nintendo released in 1981. The port is also the winner of the Arok Party 2025 Game Dev Compo.
