27.01.2026 - Video: Ghosts'n'Goblins AGA Amiga remake WIPStart of level 1. The rest also works besides the water jump. The scrolling to the left is not 100%, and the frog colors are off. The 6809 to 68000 transcoding technique that was used allows to get all levels working at once, no need to painstakingly placing enemies, recreating what has already been done perfectly moons ago. There's also some footage showing a short part of the cave level, with exclusive IM76 level 3 tune rendition.

Since space and time are limited, skillful city planning is essential. As king, you will also have to make important decisions. Events and dangerous neighbors will complicate your task. A physical version of the game will later be published by the magazine Komoda & Amiga plus.

15.01.2026 - Amiga game 'Wardner' - Level 3 Demo releasedReleased in arcades and published by Taito in 1987, Toaplan's Wardner is an action platformer in much the same vein as Ghosts 'n Goblins/Ghouls 'n Ghosts. The similarities end there though as Wardner has its own special mechanics and flavour to bring to the genre. Players assume the role of a child named Dover on a journey to rescue his kidnapped girlfriend Mia from the dastardly warlock Mr Wardner. Development for an Amiga (AGA) version is currently ongoing and you can get a demo preview as digital download for a bargain (name your own price) to support the developer.

This Amiga version made with Scorpion Engine re-imagines its spirit - fast‑paced action, adventurous platforming, joyful gameplay and a sense of childlike wonder - while taking advantage of the Amiga’s fantastic hardware capabilities for its time. This version for free download is an Alpha version. Many elements are still evolving, and several features are experimental or incomplete.

Now there is an Amiga port available featuring: Features: arcade perfect gameplay, 50 fps on avanilla A1200, 25 fps on A500, whdload mode available for AGA/ECS, floppy mode available for ECS/OCS (AGA+ECS+OCS versions don't fit on a 880kb disk).
