10.09.2026 - C64 game 'Empire 64' released - free for download
'Empire 64' is a trading strategy game for the C64. This game was originally a C128 type-in program from the October 1987 issue of Ahoy magazine. It has now been converted to the 64 and slightly enhanced with new font and music plus a special winning screen. The option to select how much money that you begin with has been added as well. Choose from the default $500 all the way up to $10,000. Here's the original instructions for the game as they appeared in the magazine.

05.09.2026 - C64 game 'Pizza Boy 64' released - free for download
'Pizza Boy 64', a fun, fast action game, is a conversion to the C64 of a type-in program for the C128 originally published in the December 1987 issue of Ahoy magazine. You are a pizza boy and your job is to deliver pizza in a city between speeding motorists and rabid mongrels. Worst of all,you have to pay the difference if a pizza shows up cold.

22.08.2026 - VIC-20 port of 'Knight Lore' released - free for download
Knight Lore is a 1984 action-adventure game developed and published by Ultimate Play the Game, written by company founders Chris and Tim Stamper and released for ZX Spectrum, BBC Micro, Amstrad CPC, MSX. After there was also a port for C64/C128, this game no also got a homebrew fan port for the VIC-20 (PAL/NTSC +35K RAM expansion, keyboard and joystick supported), created for the retro gaming community.

30.06.2026 - 'Head Over Heels Extended' for C64 released - free for download
'Head Over Heels', the isometric action-adventure game published by Ocean Software in 1987 got a complete overhaul by Grue/Beyond Force, who already brought us several improved classics. Besides speeding up the whole graphics engine, there a number of fixes, improvements and tweaks, including changes that make use of the 2Mhz mode of the C128.

09.06.2026 - 'Eclipse' - game for C64, C128, Amiga, Plus/4 and Mega65 (and even more systems) released
'Eclipse' is is an adaptation of the Italian adventure Morgan Tyler: Eclypse by Bonaventura Di Bello. It was originally written using The Quill and Illustrator and published by Edizioni Hobby S.r.l. on the cover tape of Epic 3000, no. 7, December 1986 for the ZX Spectrum. It was later published on the cover tape of Explorer, no. 7, May 1987 for the Commodore 64 and MSX. It has now been translated to English and rewritten for a modern audience with the original author's permission. This new version includes many enhancements that weren't in the original. 29.03.2026 - Video: Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo for C64/C128 - Demo 3 free for download
In this video you can find some updates on the Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo game I'm creating for C64/C128 platforms using my RetroFighter engine. This adaptation of SSF2T for CBM platforms is based on the GameBoy Advance version called SSF2T Revival, but obviously my version will have something different. The game is planned to be executed on a 1Mbyte EasyFlash or Kung Fu Flash cartridge. This new demo includes the following: almost all backdrops (one is to be completed), almost all musics (only one remaining), enhanced bonus rounds, enhanced animations and sprites, chainable jabs and shorts basic moves for some fighters, strongs and forward basic moves for some fighters

05.11.2025 - 'Stunt Car Racer 128' released - free for download
'Stunt Car Racer 128' is an adaptation of the original C64 version of Stunt Car Racer to run natively on the C128. The code was modified to take advantage of the extra RAM, the MMU and the faster clock rate in the border area to push the frame rate as far as possible on a stock machine. The end result is roughly 50% faster than the C64 version. Notably, the C128 made the following optimisations possible: uncompressing the LUT used for arctan calculations, switching to a table based fast multiplication routine, unrolling the screen clearing logic and using the MMU for better throughput. Besides that minor visual bugs are also fixed and also, the menu system was modified to squeeze in some additional features.

'SNK vs CAPCOM for C64/C128 - Stronger Edition' is a non-profit, freeware and unlicensed fighting game created by fans and based on the original Neo Geo Pocket Color game called “SNK vs CAPCOM: Match of the Millennium”. The Stronger Edition includes 16 additional fighters add to the roster, for a total of 32 fighters to play with. You can get the game in current state as digital download for free, however, you should consider donating a few coins (name your own price) to support the developer.
