Farewell Patrick!
Author: Zeldin - written on 31.12.2014

Farewell Patrick!Axis/Cascade is no more. We are all still shaken by the unexpected death of our friend and group mate Patrick aka Axis/Cascade. We wanted to express our sorrow, so I coded a little intro, which you can find in the C64 demo section of this page. The following text is a rough excerpt taken from the scroller:

Dear Patrick, may this be the condolence from the the group that was co-founded by you long time ago. We want to give you our last salute. I (Zeldin) know how much you were breathing the spirit of the scene. That's why I thought a goodbye demo would have made you happy. You and me exchanged lots of mails about how much we both enjoyed the good ol' days and of course: how much we miss them... It was this tie that emotionally connected us for over 15 years. Thanks for all your help in supporting the group and your indefatigable endeavour in spreading our name. Your tattoos were legendary! Thanks for your work on fb and youtube. Your channels were appreciated by a lot of people. Thanks for being such a good chap. You'll be sorely missed!!!

Mach's gut, Patrick... den Adler im Herzen, sge4ever!

18.09.2026 - Plus/4 game 'Cuthbert in Castle Wolfenstein' released - free for download
'Cuthbert in Castle Wolfenstein' is not a new, official Cuthbert adventure from Microdeal, but a real First Person Shooter. Made for the Commodore Plus/4, the game takes Cuthbert through ten levels below the castle. Connected chambers and passages give way to a pillared hall, a ring-shaped courtyard, galleries and laboratory blocks. The job stays the same: collect every treasure chest and live long enough to reach the next level.

18.09.2026 - C64 game 'Nyx and the Scrolls' released
'Nyx and the Scrolls' is an arcade cave-runner for the C64 where the cave sets the pace and every scroll you take makes it faster. You are Nyx, a scroll hunter on a flying carpet with a lamp held out in front of you, riding a cave that scrolls past on its own. The old scrolls drift in the dark. So do the bats. You can get the game as digital download for a bargain (name your own price) to support the developer.

18.09.2026 - C64 game 'Yell at Clouds' released
'Yell at Clouds' is a single-screen arcade platformer for the C64 with thirteen levels, a forum reviewer who rates you after every single one, and a meteor at the end of it. Grumps, forum trolls and unpluggers come at you across a single screen. You are a small white cloud with a bubble machine. Blow a bubble around a man, then touch it and pop him — before he shakes it off and comes back red and faster. You can get the game as digital download for a fair price to support the developer.
