'Cosmic Combat DX' for C64 announced
Cosmic Combat Deluxe is a fun arcade blaster for one or two players, that will be free download and web player blasting its way on 3rd December 2021. This game was originally created and designed using the Shoot Em Up Construction Kit and has been majorly transformed into the SEUCK Redux engine. Features: - Brand new front end presentation. - Uptempo 90s style music. - Hi score table. - No SEUCK slowdown syndrome. - 1 or 2 player action. - Original Cosmic Combat also included with a new title screen made by using the SEUCK Title Maker.
'Amiga 2000 EATX PCB' revision 2.1 released
The purpose of this project is to develop an open source Amiga 2000 PCB in the EATX form factor, an ATX variant that allows slightly deeper PCBs. There are one-to-one board replacement projects for the Amiga 2000, but none to change the layout to meet current form factor standards. In addition, the Amiga 2000 made use of connectors and custom parts that are no longer commercially manufactured. This often requires parts to be pulled from existing machines. As such, this project will make use of only actively supported components when possible. New in Rev. 2.1: - Changed footprint of U9000 to offer more part options. - Added U207 to buffer VSYNC and HSYNC signals. - Relocated Zorro termination components. - Added additional component values to silk screen. - Moved many traces to the external layers
Moer footage on Amiga WIP port of 'Wonderboy'
Full playthrough of rounds 1 and 2. This was made using Erik Hogan's outstanding Scorpion engine for the Amiga computer, currently AGA only for smooth frame rates. Will run on A500 (with some extra memory) but further optimisation is required for zero slowdown. Area 1 Rounds 1-4 are more or less complete, still some polish and rough edges to fine tune.
'Rick Dangerous' enhanced version for A1200 and CD32 announced
As a trailer announced, there will be an enhanced version of Rick Dangerous for Amiga 1200 or CD32. Made with Scorpion engine by the Z-Team and targeted to be released on AmigaGameJam. The video shows footage of the work in progress.
Amiga game creator 'Redpill' V0.9.3 released
Redpill, the Amiga game creator, is a tool to empower people to create many games for Amiga without programming knowledge. It allows people to create 2D games with the true Amiga feeling. Supports both ECS and AGA Amigas, it is free and it is still in development. List of changes in 0.9.3:- Profiler update: Trigger conditions and actions are displayed. Also added extra cathegories in the main bar. - Code for global variables has been optimized. - Code for input has been optimized. - Render code has been optimized. - New action Trigger Sprite Layer to enabled or disable the Level Sprite Layer. - New action Trigger Sprite Spd X to set up the Level Sprite Layer Speed in X. - Removed HUD Enabled/Top/Bottom from HUD screen as now the setup is done in Level Properties. - Audio routines for player and the editor have been unified. - Code has been converted to ASCII, this is just better for me but could have some unknown implications. - Some internal code refactoring. - In Game Setup screen Target FPS has been renamed to Max FPS. - FIX: Sprite setup not being seen in the Level Properties screen. - FIX: When entering the level screen some old projects could crash the editor.

Gather presents and toss them to the wandering dreamers, but watch out for the GRONCH dashing around stealing presents! Take too long or miss too many throws and Christmas will be ruined
New C64 game 'PAC-WOR' released
'PAC-WOR' is crossover of 'Pac-Man' and 'Wizard of Wor', trying to combine the strengths of the two classics. Or in other word: A two player Pac-Man game in the Wizard of Wor universe. Collect all pills in the dungeons and avoid the monsters. After you eaten the POWOR PILL you can eat the monsters for extra points for a little time. But be aware, they will revive soon. You can play the game, even competing against each other, even helping each other, fighting together against monsters.
'Get The Diamonds' - new game for VIC-20 released as free download
Guide Diamond Dylan through each cave, collecting enough diamonds so he can finally retire and afford to buy a nice cottage in the country, away from the traffic. Get The Diamonds is a 1 player game for your 3kb expanded VIC20, featuring colourful graphics, in game sound and 8 fiendish levels. Get The Diamonds will work on both PAL and NTSC VIC20s.
Commodore DAC-612 from 1969: Inside and Out - new Video from '8-Bit Show And Tell'
We take a look at a mostly-but-not-completely functional Commodore DAC-612 desktop calculator based upon the Casio 122 made in Japan around 1969. It uses Elfin display tubes and many components from a family of parts from NEC and Hitachi.
'Tetris 2K21' - an improved version of Tetris for C16/Plus/4 available
'Tetris 2K21' a game with NES Tetris rules is an improved version of a previous 'Tetris' conversion for C16/Plus/4 from 1990. In the original the in-game music never turns the TED channels off, which causes the lead to get stuck, and play a very long, very high, frankly ear-hurting note during the "digi only" part of the music. Once that got fixed, even more fixes got applied... and this project just "ran away" and in the end nearly the whole game code was renewed.
Video: 'Robocop' for AMiga (AGA) - Update #4
Progress update #4 of an Amiga AGA implementation of the Robocop arcade game. Changes from last version: - High scores now output at different speeds matching the arcade. - Names are now drawn in the correct colour. - White noise as a scene transition. - Added prime directives. - Added sound effects. - Code refactoring
Video shows proof of concept for 'Double Dragon' ond Amiga using Scorpion Engine
After seeing many videos online, especially a recent Street Fighter 2 demo by Neeso Games (who are also working on a version of Jackal), it got developer Mark Day thinking that maybe he could speed up his development of 'Double Dragon' by bringing the existing assets into the Scorpion Engine and do some tests.

Petscii Robots invade the C128, Amiga, Plus/4 and more! - new video from 'The 8-Bit Guy'
As a recap: Most of you already know, that Petscii Robots had ports for the PET , VIC-20, C64, Apple II, Atari 8-Bit and the Commander X16. But at the end of the last video some 6502 systems were mentioned, that yet have no port. A lot of people took it as a challenge and now there are 7 actual ports in progress. This video shows some of them, that are already finished.

Axis/Cascade is no more. We are all still shaken by the unexpected death of our friend and group mate Patrick aka Axis/Cascade. We wanted to express our sorrow, so I coded a little intro, which you can find in the C64 demo section of this page. The following text is a rough excerpt taken from the scroller:
Dear Patrick, may this be the condolence from the the group that was co-founded by you long time ago. We want to give you our last salute. I (Zeldin) know how much you were breathing the spirit of the scene. That's why I thought a goodbye demo would have made you happy. You and me exchanged lots of mails about how much we both enjoyed the good ol' days and of course: how much we miss them... It was this tie that emotionally connected us for over 15 years. Thanks for all your help in supporting the group and your indefatigable endeavour in spreading our name. Your tattoos were legendary! Thanks for your work on fb and youtube. Your channels were appreciated by a lot of people. Thanks for being such a good chap. You'll be sorely missed!!!
