MOD is a computer file format used primarily to represent music, and was the first module file format. MOD files use the ".MOD" file extension, except on the Amiga where the original trackers instead use a "mod." prefix scheme, e.g. "mod.echoing". A MOD file contains a set of instruments in the form of samples, a number of patterns indicating how and when the samples are to be played, and a list of what patterns to play in what order.

23.12.2025 - 'Amiga Sonic' - Tech Demo releasedRetroRic had the idea of trying to bring Sonic to the Amiga, but with news of Reassembler's new Sonic project, he realized that there wasn't much point in keeping this project alive. He couldn't quite let it die though and really wanted to see what was possible with the Scorpion Engine, so he decided just to make a tech demo out of curiosity. Then the project ballooned to an almost complete level 1 of Mega Drive Sonic the Hedgehog, in both 32 colour and 16 colour versions, which you can get the game as digital download for little money (name your own price) to support the developer. For Any Amiga with 2 MB chipram.
