Your job is to guide Santa to collect as many presents as possible within the time allowed. 'Santa's Troubles' is single screen platform arcade game where you help Santa Claus recover all the gift packages stolen by the criminals. Once Santa Claus has snuck into the thieves' den, he will have to move inside the building avoiding the enemies and collect the packages bringing them to the fireplace from which he entered. 14.12.2023 - 'Yeti Mountain' - Upcoming Protovision Game for C64
Protovision is very pleased to announce the next game - watch out for the story driven, multi-genre Yeti Mountain! This full scale C64 game is Russel Mills‘ debut title (with lots of involvement of other Protovision folks) and it turned out wonderful! The rpg-skiing-platform-action game is spread out across three distinct episodes as you set out to Yeti Lodge Resort to investigate the suspicious disappearance of your best friend Chris. Yeti Mountain will also become our Gold Cart Release in 2024.

13.12.2023 - Why 38911 Bytes Free? Commodore 64's BASIC RAM - video from '8-Bit Show And Tell'
The Commodore 64's famous blue-on-blue boot message says "38911 BASIC BYTES FREE". But it's supposedly a 64K RAM system, so where did the rest of the RAM go? Is it a scam? We go through the origin of the name Commodore 64, discuss how 64K of RAM was a pretty big deal in 1982, and then get into the details of the C64 memory map. Then we track down why we have 1 or 3 bytes less than a full 38K of RAM, depending on who you ask.

Stranded Cats is a multiplayer (split-screen) adventure game for the Commodore 64. The offered release was previously a Patreon exclusive download, but is now available for everyone. It is only a demo, it's missing audio and might have a few graphical glitches here and there. It will be turned into a full game in the future.

'Doomed PETSCII Pacman' is a unique Pac-Man variant that mixes in Doom gameplay elements. After we saw a release for C64 in September this year, we now got the Plus/4 version. Released under the label pexi.io in collaboration with PleasureBytes Games. Music by Neil Brennan.
