29.06.2020 - Unreleased C64 game 'Make My Day' fully recovered and added to GTW64Following on from the release of 'Mirage', GTW64 has announced the preservation and recovery of yet another title in the form of 'Make My Day'. A full diagonal scrolling Western game which was intended for Power House back in 1988. 'Games That Weren't 64' (GTW64) is a digital preservation project and archive of unreleased/incomplete/cancelled games and prototypes for the Commodore 64 computer.

To Be On Top was Chris' most ambitious game and music project on the C64. Combining a semi autobiographical adventure game-play with state of the art C64 music that even included sampling was an enormous task at the time. The goal was to create a game where you could arrange your own music piece and try to get to the top of the charts.

23.06.2020 - Restoring Satoru Iwata's VIC-20 Easter Egg - new Video from '8-Bit Show And Tell'Before he was President of Nintendo, before HAL Laboratory, Satoru Iwata was a Commodore fan who programmed games on his Commodore PET 2001. When he started with HAL, he made a Galaxian clone called Star Battle for the VIC-20 which was released in 1981. In that cartridge he hid a credits screen which hasn't been fully revealed until now, 39 years later.
