07.09.2020 - New C64 game 'Aliens NeoPlasma' WIPThe development of Aliens Neoplasma C64 is currently be finished. The game will require a C64 accelerator (Ultimate64, Turbo Chameleon 64, SuperCPU) as it makes extensive use of the hires bitmap mode. Only the hero is made of hardware sprites, all the enemies are bitmap BOBs (blitted objects=software sprites). Objects are also horizontally flipped in real time. It was impossible for me to make it using only hardware sprites, as they were too many sprites on a single row sometimes (the aliens are very big ya know). It will be a cartridge release.
