The aim of the game is to toggle the platforms to get more of the treats to the bottom than the tricks. You need to find a suitable stratergy to help you achieve this. The colossal nightmare beast has descended onto earth. Your only chance is your acid suit and your electric zapper. Couragely you jump into its mouth and make for its eyes and heart. 29.10.2023 - Amiga game 'Castlevania AGA' - update released - free for download
A remake of the 1987 original but with visuals inspired by Castlevania Chronicles and other non-8 bit titles in the series. The goal was to provide a playable and pure version of the original Castlevania but with an Amiga flavor. The new large update that adds stages 10 to 15, with many new enemies such as the sprite-segmented mini-boss, the reaper boss, skeletons able to get back up after hit, and more.

29.10.2023 - C64 port of 'Vampire Vengeance' released
'Vampire Vengeance' is a classic single screen platformer game originally made for Spectrum. Now it was ported to C64 and presented at Flashparty 2023 as an entry for the Video Game Category. YAPE is a decent no-nonsense Plus/4 emulator thats being developed for 10+ years. It is available in Windows as well as multiplatform editions. As announced, Hop to the Top - Bunny's Revenge is now released. The game is a turn-by-turn procedulally generated puzzle game for Amiga 500. 'Roguish' for the VIC-20 is as the name suggests a roguelike game (or rather a "roguish"-like game - with permanent death, generative-enough, more or less unlimited). Features: - Unlimited random rooms, generated in random order from templates with random items, with increasingly numerous and dangerous goblins. - Combat system uses attack (shield) and defence (sword) abilities (yours and your opponent's) to calculate damage. - Enemies use hunt / random walk.

27.10.2023 - Video: 'Deathmine' for Amiga - WIP v0.02C - Amiga GameDev
This video shows a preview of the WIP Amiga platformer / puzzle game "Deathmine", which was made last year in Blitz Basic 2.1 for the Blitz Basic Game Jam. It's now converted to C/C++ code and the developer planned to continue the work on it.

25.10.2023 - A PETSCII Message from "Hooked On A Feeling" Blue Swede Singer Björn Skifs - video from '8-Bit Show And Tell'
There's a PETSCII-encoded secret message on the cover of the 1984 solo album from Björn Skifs, who is famous as the singer of "Hooked On A Feeling" covered by his band Blue Swede that was a #1 hit song in 1974, and again in 2014 as part of the "Guardians of the Galaxy" soundtrack. We take a look at the record, including a survey of the writers of all the songs (a very accomplished group!) and then set about decoding the message with a trusty Commodore 64.
