16.09.2023 - GTW64: Mountain Valley Software unreleased C64 gamesGreat news at 'Games That Weren't 64' (GTW64): A bonus post to finish the week. Recently Fabrizio Bartoloni flagged up someone called BloodyCactus looking at an unreleased C64 adventure game called 'The Mermaid and the Crown'. Whilst looking into details to try and add entries onto the site, via the CASA Solution Archive we found that there were about 5 other adventure titles by Mountain Valley Software that were also never completed and released. These are: 'The Curse of Cranbury Manor', 'Sorcerers of Ravenswood', 'Crypt', 'Ophir' and 'Treasure of Dead Man’s Cay'.

He went in to investigate on the myth of a demonic entity. Now he's missing! The game is made for AmigaOS3.x and requires min. CPU 20 MIPS, 30MB RAM and RTG 640 x 360. 14.09.2023 - Amiga game 'ASM - Das Computer-Spiel - The Director's Cut' (German version) releasedA normal day in the editorial office of the "ASM". You are the editor-in-chief, Manfred "Manni" Kleimann. You wake up at your desk and realize: you have lost your memory. Who are all these strangers? And what does the magazine's comic mascot "Space-Rat" have to do with all of this? Originated from a coding contest in 1991 it is now - just 32 years later - finished: The graphic adventure about the German cult video game magazine "ASM"! It is 1991. You can get the game as nice boxed version with manual and goodies.
13.09.2023 - C64 game 'QIXSCII' released - free for download'QIXSCII' is a PETSCII version of Qix, an early 80's arcade game by Taito where you have to draw lines that close off parts of the rectangle to fill in a set amount of the playfield. QIXSCII was made in BASIC V2 code and you can get as digital download. Also as Blitz compiled version is available.
13.09.2023 - Amiga game 'Invanoid' released as playable betaThis video shows 'Invanoid', a combination of Invaders and Arkanoid for the Amiga. The game is in the making for a while, but now a beta version can be downloaded and played. Links are in the video description.
13.09.2023 - 'Super Monza Grand GP2' for Vic-20 released and free for downloadThis is a racing game for the 32K expanded Commodore VIC 20. It expands on the the original game by adding three more circuits (Monaco, Spa and Interlagos). Race for position or race against the clock. PAL or NTSC.
11.09.2023 - Amiga game 'Boxx 2 Remake V0.1' released - free for downloadBoxx 2 Remake is a platform game for Commodore Amiga (Minimum system: A500/1MB). The original game from 2015 is now now remade with Scorpion Engine and has upgraded graphics. This is the beta version so please report any bugs. All feedback is welcome.
