31.07.2023 - WIP C64 game 'Rocky & Co' - Video 7 uploaded
More work in progress footage of the coming Icon64 title 'Rocky and Co' for C64.There is now a full cart built, just a few things left to tweak then the game can go to testing.

31.07.2023 - Amiga game 'The Last Dungeon' released
'The Last Dungeon' is a top down an action-adventure game in the style of 'The Legend of Zelda' for Amiga 500 ECS 1MB (OCS might be buggy). It was released as submission to the AmiGameJam 2022. This is not a finished game. If people like it enough, the developer will continue to work on it after the Jam in the hope of finishing it properly. You can get the game in current state as digital download for a bargain (name your own price).

'Caravandalf' is a wizardly caravan mode shmup, by Peter & Gordon Mackay and was made for AmiGameJam 2022. The game is available as free digital download.

'Rogue Declan: Zero' is a challenging, procedurally generated, roguelite twin-stick shooter for Amiga. The wizards have been at it again, and this time they've accidentally opened Hellgates under the castle! Now it's up to you, brave, brave Sir Declan, to search the castle dungeon and find enough magical shards to access and close its gate. After the attempt with Scorpion Engine, there is now a new take on 'Gothic Vania', a run-and-gun platform game. This time by Amiten Games, made for Amiga 1200 with a HDD. Story: Year 200 AD... The inhabitants of Valencia are suffering from a horde of beings from beyond the grave, evil creatures. You can get the game as digital download for a bargain (name your own price).

30.07.2023 - New C64 game 'Lancess Priya' released - free for download
'Lancess Priya' is a new game by Dr. TerrorZ, who also brought us 'Digiloi' and 'Fort Django'. It was released at:Vammala Party 2023. Planet Eartha is under attack from the evil lord Luken Faija and his fleet of Battlestars. Lancess Priya you are our only hope! Proceed through Space Battle, Battlestar Surface, and Battlestar Trench scenes. Avoid enemy fire or deflect them by shooting. Earn wave bonuses by destroying the required number of targets, such as enemy ships, tower tops and bunkers. To destroy the Battlestar you need to hit the reactor core(s) at the end of the trench.

29.07.2023 - Best Ever VIC-20 Cart? Penultimate+2 - video from '8-Bit Show And Tell'
One Commodore VIC-20 cartridge to rule them all? Tynemouth Software and The Future Was 8-Bit have teamed up to make the Penultimate+2 cartridge which contains over 200 VIC-20 games spanning from the original games made in Japan by Hal Laboratory in 1980 to modern games made in the present day. In addition it contains useful utilities, programming languages, diagnostic tools, flexible software-controlled RAM upgrades and even more. In this first video we have a look at a fraction of the games available. We'll follow up in another video with a detailed look at all the rest of the cartridge's features.

27.07.2023 - 'Kung Fu Flash' Firmware v1.46 released
'Kung Fu Flash' is a cartridge for the Commodore 64 by Kim Jorgensen that packs a punch. It can emulate different cartridge types, load PRG files and use D64 disk images. Just place your desired CRT, PRG or D64 files on a FAT formatted microSD card and use the built-in launcher to execute them. New in Update 1.46: - Simple text file reader. It is now possible to open small text files from the launcher.

26.07.2023 - 'Games That Weren't 64' (GTW64) - July 2023 updates
The months are flying fast, and now its time for our July 2023 update for the GTW64 archives with two new additions, including an unnamed Andrew Braybrook game and a potential title where music was composed by Tim/Geoff Follin. GTW64 also has 16 pre-existing entries which have been updated too.

26.07.2023 - Amiga game 'Wonderboy 1200' V1.2 released
This is a port of SEGA's Wonderboy' and was created with Erik Hogan's Scorpion Engine and you can get it as digital download for a bargain (name your own price). Requirements: An Amiga with 2MB Chip (020 cpu or better & fast ram highly recommend). Changes: v1.2: - Tweaks to frog leaping mechanic (run straight at them!). - Fixed several minor bugs. - Improved loading speeds. - Added highscore saves

26.07.2023 - 'Kung Fu Flash' Firmware v1.45 released
'Kung Fu Flash' is a cartridge for the Commodore 64 by Kim Jorgensen that packs a punch. It can emulate different cartridge types, load PRG files and use D64 disk images. New in Update 1.45: - Support generic cartridge ROM/BIN files. - Display error message if there are problems communicating with the cartridge.
