There is a severe lack of vertical split screen scrolling games on the C64. But don’t despair, “Metal Mayhem” is out to remedy the situation by delivering an old school one on one tank game. It was made by Dr. Mortal Wombat, who already brought us great games like Corescape, Roguebot, Minotrace, Ball and Chain, Gates of the Ancient, Plekthora. The levels in a set can be tackled in any order but the following set is only unlocked when at least eight levels in its preceding set are solved. Bombtank' is a small Bomberman. clone for the Plus/4. In the standard version, up to 5 players can play at the same time. With the WheelOfJoy variant, up to 8 players can play at the same time; the WOJ from Sukkopera is required as additional hardware. Not all joysticks have to be equipped, the order doesn't matter at all. The minimum number of required player is 2. In the YAPE emulator there is a small problem with the standard version because there is no SID Joyport there. But it works perfectly on a Plus4. A slightly smaller update this month, as the GTW64 team focus efforts on preserving the rest of Archer Maclean’s disks and also the Micro-Antics collection for the VIC-20. However, still plenty of new content to take a look at - including the recovery of the lost Breakdown loading screen, a number of educational title findings, a strange Ocean Software game done for TV and more.

The game is still in development and currently contains only 2 levels and no sound, however, it is completely playable and the plan is to add other levels as the project continues... In 'Bunny's Boing Ball Bounty' your aim is to collect as many easter eggs as possible as fast as possible. So clearly the path you take is important.
