11.06.2024 - Loading, Playing, Dev Info on Emu's Massive Hunt: Brand New VIC-20 Game 2024 - video from '8-Bit Show And Tell'Emu's Massive Hunt is a brand-new VIC-20 platform game in the Metroidvania style that was developed using Turbo Rascal Syntax Error and the LBM8 graphics library by Andy Hewitt of Hewco. It's available on cassette from The Future Was 8-Bit and as a free download for your +35K expanded VIC-20. We demonstrate loading the game from tape on a real NTSC VIC-20, and of course play the game, and then look at an Emu-themed tutorial that Andy's made for TRSE and LBM8 showing part of how EMH was developed.

Minimum requirements: Amiga 500 with 0,5MB chip RAM + 0,5MB slow RAM. New in v1.1: - new professional graphics, - more animations and sounds in game, - more dynamites, - now we can pause on game. You can obtain the game as digital download for little money (name your own price) to support the developer.
05.06.2024 - 'La Casa (The House)' - Adventure for C64 and Plus/4 released - free for downloadLa Casa is the third in the row, continuing the series of text adventures converted from ZX Spectrum which were created by Gian Battista Aicardi. This one was first released in the 47th issue of Load'n Run magazine, which was published in March 1988, and for us Plus/4 adventurers it follows Bronx and Excalibur. C64 version can be downloaded here.
