'Runn 'n Gunn' is an upcoming platformer for C64 that is in development for some weeks. There is now a multiplexor included RnG and the terminals working to open the new area, so parts of the gameplay are ready to be tested.

Richard Bayliss’ The New Dimension (TND) has just started a new 'SEUCK Competition'. For compo rules check his website. SEUCK is an acronym for "Shoot Em Up Construction Kit". SEUCK is an old commercial C64 utility that allows you to create and generate your very own shoot 'em ups or other game ideas with the aid of various sub menus pre-built into the program itself. SEUCK was swiss army knife of games development without needing any knowledge of code.

Underwater Basket Weaving is a pick-up-and-play puzzle game by Jeffrey Daniels. It is made entirely in BASIC for the unexpanded VIC 20. Use the keyboard or joystick to replicate the weave pattern before you run out of air. The game is available for bargain as digital version (download).

Here is a video showing a preview of a promising arcade platformer game for Amiga 500 (512kb+512kb). The developer is Amiten Team and the game is planned to be released this year.

02.01.2021 - C64 game 'Sprite Invaders' released
'Sprite Invaders' is a Space Invaders clone and free for download. The game was made for the 'Only Sprites Compo' at csdb, which means, the whole game (incl. all visuals) was solely made of hardware sprites, which is simply amazing. PS: Wiggle joystick in all directions on menu to go back to the year 1978.
