The work on getting the MEGA65 DevKits shipped has been going along steadily over the last few weeks as well, but with less bloggable moments from his side. What has also being going on, is the work on the next milestone of the MEGAphone grant from the NLnet Foundation. For those who aren't familiar with this, this is a grant to move the MEGAphone project forward to having a PCB design that is mature enough that can be made a bunch for the community to get hold of, and to innovate on as a platform for resilient and secure communications. Yet another A500 repair! This one is a rev 3 board and it was in a pretty sorry state.

Welcome back to the 'The 8-Bit Guy'. This episode starts with a road trip. 'The 8-Bit Guy' got a phone call from a guy in Oklahoma City, who runs a electronic recycling shop there and he picked up some things that should be quite interesting...

'Dungeon of the Rogue Daemon' is a multiplayer dungeon crawler for the Commodore 64 with RR-Net/64NIC+ or (new!) Ultimate 64, and 1541 Ultimate II+. You can also play it in a modern web browser (Chrome recommended) or on mobile (may still need some work). Features: - The game is auto-updating, you will always have the latest version. - Once you're in the game, press F1 for the help screen. Joystick in Port 2, or keyboard. - Setup instructions are on the linked page. If you've played any of my past C64 network games, you should be good to go. - There is a Discord Voice Chat Channel for talking with other players.

Welcome to Adrian Black's Mid-Week-Mini-Mail-Call #23! In this video he takes a look at a cool Apple II card giving it the ability to boot from a SD card, he uses a donated C128 PAL VICIIE to fix his German Commodore 128 and he runs a C64 Basic program from an old issue of MAD Magazine to see what it does!

Also new in stock at Protovision is 'BeamRacer', a groundbreaking expansion video coprocessor for the C64 enables precise control of the VIC-II graphics chip, allowing for a host of novel visual effects and freeing the main CPU for other tasks, all while retaining full compatibility with existing programs.

This clever modification provides a crystal clear digital video signal from within the C64 that can be outputted as a YPbPr (component video), making it compatible with many modern day televisions without the need for an external upscaler or converter. It even provides an upscaled picture for HDTVs and is practically lag-free.

This is a special review of the new Commodore 64 game 'Showdown' by Ricki Sickenger, Graphics by Henning Ludvigsen and music and sound effects by Sami Louko.

'Juanje Juega in Sinverland' is a fun little platformer game by Picaro Games with unusual gameplay and ideas. And best of all: you can download it for free.

This footage shows work in progress. The game is built using Scorpion Engine. It should work on a stock Amiga 500, when it's finished.
