18.07.2026 - C64 game 'The Last Relic' - demo version released
The Last Relic' is a WIP action adventure for C64. The world ended. Your wife's hydroponics bunker needs a controller to keep the crops alive — and the only machine that can run it is the last working Commodore 64 in the wasteland. You're the Hunter. Go find it. The demo version offers full Level 1: desert wasteland, tutorial, first quest chain. Fight scorpions and cockroaches, find the battery, power up the teleport. HUD with quest objectives, score, weapons and ammo. You can get the demo version of the game as digital download for a bargain (name your own price) to support the developer.

18.07.2026 - Video: Vulgus amiga AGA port [WIP]
Early footage of a playable Vulgus Amiga port by developer jotd666, who already delivered a lot of great arcade ports like Ghosts'n'Goblins, Track'N'Field, Bad Dudes vs Dragonninja, Gyruss and more. From an old (but complete) RE from tcdev, ported with jotd666's z80 2 68k converter in an evening, ripped the graphics (some black is missing). No9 did the small tune but there are still some sound issues right now, so the video is muted for now.

18.07.2026 - Plus/4 emulator YAPE 1.4.0 released
YAPE is a decent no-nonsense Plus/4 emulator thats being developed for 10+ years. It is available in Windows as well as multiplatform editions. Version 1.4.0 brings one of the most peculiar hardware additions to YAPE: support for Sukkopera's SoundX board with a Yamaha Adlib YM3812 (OPL2) sound chip, implemented via an external DLL I created based on the excellent Nuked-OPL3 library (included in the package for now). Besides the new sound hardware, this version also improves source-level debugging by extending the supported assembly listing formats with CA65 (and fixes for others) and enhancing the Find dialog in the LST source window. Several emulation and debugger fixes have also been made, together with a number of general bug fixes.

17.07.2026 - C64 game 'WaiterWaiter!' released - free for download
'WaiterWaiter!' is a simple high score chaser game, where the aim is to keep the Turkey from hitting the floor - a life is lost if it does - and kick as many rats as you can. To advance each level you’ll need to kick several green rats and guide the turkey through the oven or freezer doors.

16.07.2026 - C64 game 'TULT 64' released - free for download
'TULT 64' is a free puzzle game for the Commodore 64 that involves sliding blocks together so that all their colored sides match and their movement tallies are set to zero. The game features 60 stages (the 19 original stages plus 41 new ones), stage code and continue system, unlimited undo function, built-in tutorial, digitized speech samples from the original game and PAL and NTSC compatibility.

14.07.2026 - VIC-20 game 'Deathchase' released - free for download
'Deathchase' is a classic 3D chase game for VIC-20 (PAL, with 8k expander or greater) and a port of the Spectrum classic vehicular combat game by Mervyn Estcourt, published by Micromega in 1983.

'Castle Smash' is new interpretation of Warlords, the 1981 action video game developed and published by Atari, Inc. for the arcades. It's a classic four-castle showdown. Demolish everyone else's. 'The Secret of Barron Wood' is a supernatural short story in the form of a text adventure. This game is made with DAAD and was designed to have a retro feel, harking back to the heyday of adventuring in the 1980s. Besides a version for C64 and Amiga, there are also versions for Amstrad, Atari ST, Spectrum, MSX and PC-DOS.

06.07.2026 - C64 game 'Rust'n'Steel Reboot' released
Rust'n'Steel' is a platformer for C64, originally coded it in 2009. Some bug fixes were made in 2015 and an annoying bug was removed in 2025. Most recently also the movement was smoothed, levels were added and an evil slimy end boss, hence the reboot. Now the game features better, faster gameplay, 9 new levels (31 at all), end boss, highscore table saved to disk and continues (game progress is saved to disk). You can get the game as digital download for a fair price to support the developer.
