08.05.2022 - Plus/4 game 'Wordle' released
And another try on the the well known web-based Wordle word game developed by Josh Wardle for Plus/4. Originally coded by Spiro Harvey for C64. Based on the v1.3 version. Press F1 at the game over screen to display the "share mode". Un-REM lines 60 and 62 to display the "data loading" screen.

06.05.2022 - More footage of WIP C64 game 'Happy Go Blocky'
'Happy Go Blocky' is an experimental C64 game using Multicolor FLI Overlace graphics. The developer ran into some demotivating multiplexer issues when he started back in 2018, but now they're finally starting to get solved and the development is progressing again. Now bigger enemies are enabled. These new ones take 3 sprites per rasterline, so there can be up to two of them on the same y-pos.

'Duckstroma' is a Jump'n'Run for Amiga, MSX, ZX Spectrum and NES. Meet Aura, she's a delivery duck and about to have a life changing day on the job. A client has requested 8 disks be delivered to them, but this won't be an easy task. Using Aura's skills navigate the hostile environment by bouncing on weak foes, even lay an egg to reach higher spots. Amiga version was created with Scorpion Engine by Erik Hogan and requires 1MB of RAM. You can get the a demo version of the game as digital download for a bargain (name your own price).

'CyberPunks 2' is a Genre: Run & Gun Shooter for Amiga AGA & CD32 by Mutation Software, which was already announced last year. Now this promo video was uploaded to overcome the time, when the game will be finally released (E.T.A. Q4 2023).

04.05.2022 - C64 SID Oscillator Behaviour (Especially Noise) - new Video from '8-Bit Show And Tell'
Let's explore how the Commodore 64 SID (Sound Interface Device) oscillators behave, with special attention to the noise ("random") oscillator. We attempt to simulate the 23-bit Linear Feedback Shift Register with a BASIC program, and then fiddle with the SID's test bit to reset the oscillator and make it match the simulation. Robin From The Future also shows up to let you HEAR what these waveforms sound like. The original cut of this video didn't have any SID audio!! Kinda weird experimental stuff!

The game was originally released back in 1982 by The Parker Brothers and was only available on two popular gaming consoles at this time, the Atari 2600 and the Intellivison. 40 years after the Atari and Intellivision games were released, Megastyle is now proud to present to you: The Commodore 64 fan version of the original Parker Brothers game 'Empire Strikes Back'.

04.05.2022 - Video shows preview of WIP Amiga game 'New Bubble Story'
'New Bubble Story' is an Amiga game currently developped by Agima. It's basically a refactoring (with completly new levels) of a game called 'Super Bubble Remix', which was written wrote 25 years ago. It's a remake of a 1987 commercial game called Bubble Ghost by Ere Informatique. Now here we have a preview video of the level 16, a bonus level that is the last with the gfx "castle" and a very early preview of the level 17 with the gfx "stones". 'Kung Fu Flash' is a cartridge for the Commodore 64 by Kim Jorgensen that packs a punch. It can emulate different cartridge types, load PRG files and use D64 disk images. Just place your desired CRT, PRG or D64 files on a FAT formatted microSD card and use the built-in launcher to execute them. New since Update 1.38: - Improve disk write support. - Optimize SD card access. - Small performance optimizations. New in Update 1.39: - Fix timing problems on some C64s (since v1.38).
