New in Firmware 220220: - Tweak USB enumeration to support some joysticks (again). - Fix Princess Maker 2 hang at the end of the intro (PCECD). - Autofire toggle for other cores, not just Minimig. - Menu core can have its own menu. - FatFs: use a cache for directory traversing. - Always parse the 'V'ersion string in the OSD menu

21.02.2022 - New WIP C64 game 'Awesome Slam Siblings' - a Smash Bros tribute
This video shows a work in progress tribute port of the party game Super Smash Brothers. This Demo is put together from recordings of the game running on an unmodified Commodore 64. (Yes, the recording is on an emulator... but in default mode). The game is actually a game engine that can be used to play a two-player match. The engine does not know about the characters - they can be loaded or patched in runtime, and contain all data and special code to handle their moves.

Green Beret, also known as Rush'N Attack, is a Konami game released in 1985 on the arcades and later ported to several home systems. But it was never released for the Amiga back then. Updated February 20, 2022:- Added the missing songs (Stage clear cut scene, and Game Over). - consistent sound design as even player losing a life uses the music module (and its instruments). - all music are now multi-song modules, meaning there will be no more in-game loading pauses to load the boss music, it's only changing music position which is instantaneous. - there is some time for player to prepare before a new boss appears, it is not so sudden anymore. - fixed enemies spawning out of thin air, specially on start of level 2. Score didn't reset if you beat the game and loop it. Some other fixes and improvements.

The Epyx 1984 Preview Disk is one of the most interesting disks in Robin's Commodore 64 collection. Not only is it a very early example of a video game company releasing playable, cut-down, or time-limited preview versions of its games, which later became an industry standard, but it's also a rare example of a Chromadisk, a unique manufacturing process that allowed full-colour printing directly on a disk jacket.
The Epyx 1984 Preview Disk is one of the most interesting disks in Robin's Commodore 64 collection. It provides a Motorola 68030 CPU clocked at 50 MHz, 64MB of RAM, and a 2,5" IDE connector for hard drives and CF adapters. Another month, and another GTW64 update with a bunch of new entries, including some new downloads for you to check out that haven’t been previously preserved as far as we can tell. These are Ladders 2, Ex Simultan and Maerzi 2 (all thanks to Csaba Virag). Also finally the Anirog version of Rhyme Land has been added! 7 new entries and 13 updates added all in all.

Protovision will be co-releasing the upcoming epic arcade adventure game - Lykia: The Lost Island, an interactive Zelda-like open world adventure
with lots of puzzles to solve and mysteries to uncover. While Psytronik Software will be looking after the disk and USB versions, Protovision will be handling the C64 cartridge version. Featuring: - A large, beautifully designed world. - A total of 580 screens to dwell through (on two continents). - Stunning intro and end sequences. - 25 full Songs from musical genius Markus 'c0zmo' Jentsch. - 40+ characters to interact with. - Integrated hint system. - 37 items that can be picked up and used throughout the game. - Aprox. 2000 conversational lines of text. - Comes on a newly introduced 1MB cartridge. - Digital manual included on the game cartridge. - Game progress can be saved on cartridge. - With Protopad Support
