02.11.2022 - Amiga game 'Weegie Nights' released and free for download
'Weegie Nights' is another game made for the Amiga Blitz Basic Game Jam. Guide our hero, Ned, through a boozy night out in Glasgow. Keep him in "the zone" to keep him out longer - if he gets too drunk or too sober, he'll have to go home. Spend your cash wisely, buy booze and food to balance Ned's drunkenness and help him last the distance. Keep in mind different establishments will have different opening hours, and watch out for the unsavoury characters roaming the streets, ready to put an end to Ned's night.

02.11.2022 - Video: 'Robocop' for Amiga (AGA) - Update #11
Progress update #11 of an Amiga AGA implementation of the RoboCop arcade game. Changes from last version: - Fixes to the RoboCop sprite animations. I think I've got all glitches done now. - Additional movements added to the RoboCop sprite; he can now jump and attack, or crouch and attack. Simple things, but a PITA to implement efficiently. - Re-worked the palette to allow the goons to glow their arcade-native green colour when hit. I don't know if I want RoboCop to do the same. Decisions, decisions. - Playing with sprite reuse to allow 8 sprites for the HUD at the top of the screen, and 8 sprites for the parallax background city graphics. HUD graphics are still WIP and may change.

01.11.2022 - C64 game 'Superchase Remix' released and free for download
Superchase Remix is a maze game for the C64 where you try to collect as much treasure as possible, while the Monster of Dungeons tries to stop you! It's also hungry! The game is called Superchase Remix because it is remixed from three different versions of the same game that got published in Compute! magazines and books in the early '80s (the original Vic-20 version was published on October 1982, so exactly 40 years ago).

ACE: Battle Over The Sea is a classic vertical shoot em up made by DarkGiver for the Amiga Blitz Basic Game Jam. You're piloting an unidentified strong and well armed turboprop plane with swiss colours (but who looks like a modernized F6F Hellcat...) in an alternate history world. Minimum system requirements : Amiga PAL OCS/ECS with 1MB Chip Memory. You can get the game as digital download for a bargain (name your own price).

Microtopia is a prototype of a city-builder simulation game, written in Blitz Basic 2.1. It features randomly generated maps and three different species of inhabitant to provide for, Crows farm the land while industrious Beavers provide robust building materials, while the Moths fascinations with technology will help keep your advanced buildings running. You can download the game as free digital download (read the loading instructions on how to boot the .adf).

31.10.2022 - Demo version of WIP Amiga game 'Capacitor's Revenge released
Capacitor's Revenge is a funny little shooter game, which was made for the Amiga Blitz Basic Game Jam. It is still in development, but you can already download a playable version for testing. Defend your Amiga motherboard from the attacking components which have escaped their soldering and gone bade.

Cab Hustle is a new game for the C64, inspired by games such as Space Taxi, TurboRaketti, and Crazy Taxi. Transport passengers between platforms without crashing to collect fare. You can get the game as free digital download.

31.10.2022 - Amiga game 'Shuriken' released
Shuriken is a Ninja-themed game based on the arcade classic Berzerk. It was built for Amiga OS 3.2 as an entry in the Amiga Blitz Basic Jam 2022 and you can get it as digital download for free.

31.10.2022 - Demo version of WIP Amiga game 'Settle the World' released
Settle the World is a turn-based building and trading game with a focus on local multiplayer (up to four players on one Amiga computer). You will have to found settlements, build roads, establish trade relations with your fellow player, explore the map and sometimes send soldiers to war.The game is still in development and many important core elements of the game concept are still missing, but you can now download a demo version and test it.

30.10.2022 - Sabre Wulf Remastered Preview (v0.1) for C64 released
Sabre Wulf is an action-adventure game released by British video game developer Ultimate Play the Game for the ZX Spectrum home computer in 1984 and there was also a port for C64. This remastering project of it was started after graphic artist JonEgg redrew all the tiles for the C64 version of the game Sabre Wulf. This is now a very first preview and there's no game here yet .. but you can explore the map, pickup the amulet pieces and some other objects (not placed in all rooms as yet), and find your way to the end location - which has the gatekeeper.

29.10.2022 - 'Castle Attack' - a game for the unexpanded Commodore VIC-20 / C16 / C116 / Plus4.
'Castle Attack' is a little arcade game in the style of 'Orc Attack', created by Rainer Kappler (Masterware Entertainment), which you can download for free. After a long battle, your castle is about to be conquered. Defend your castle by throwing stones at the attacking knights, who want to use ladders to reach the battlements of it.
