'Settle the World' is an entry to the Amiga BlitzBasic Jam 2022. It will be a turn-based building and trading game with a focus on local multiplayer (two players on one Amiga computer). You will have to build settlements, build roads, establish trade relations with your fellow player, explore the map and sometimes send soldiers to war. The game is developed for Amiga computers with at least 2 MB RAM, a fast processor and a hard disk.

'Mike Mech', a game from LC-Games, which was previously available as preview version exclusive to subscribers of Zzap64 Micro Action, is now released to the public. The game is set inside a spaceship invaded by alien entities that have deactivated the supply batteries necessary for the propulsion of the rockets. The aim is to guide Mike, the mechanic on board, inside the various power rooms and reactivate the batteries. 'Mike Mech' includes 70 levels in total and is available as digital download for a bargain (name your own price).

'Madzag' is a nice little logic game with PETSCII graphics. The task is to tie the dumplings of the same color on a single line so that the forms of different colors do not cross each other. It is important that no lines, that is, neither branches nor loops are allowed. As if we were pearing beads on a string. The lines already connected can be subsequently demolished and repaired.

'The Red Serpent Invasion' from Tristar & Red Sector Inc. (TRSI) is an impressive 3D game engine in the vain of Doom, running on stock C64. It was released at the Evoke 2022 demo party and you can download and test it for free. We take a look at the 1988 conversion of Double Dragon for the Commodore 64 which is somewhat notorious for poor playability and the infamous "waist gap" the developers issued a veiled apology for in the game manual. We take a look at the "sprite stacking techniques" (aka sprite multiplexing) used in the game - could this be improved on? Is this even what's really wrong with the game?
