06.04.2025 - C64 game 'Repetition' released - free for download
'Repetition' is a light and sound hi score challenge, written specially for the Simon Game Basic Jam, organized by Retro Programmers Inside and Phaze 101. This game is a BASIC programmed production, with some additional machine code enhancements, such as use of interrupts, fast screen display, etc and of course some awesome spaced out disco music on the title screen.

Zookeeper 2 is a game where you have to match two or more same animals to collect them and clear puzzles. When a level is successfully completed, you get a level code for the next level. The game contains 30 levels in total. You can get the game as digital download for little money (name your own price) to support the developer.

'Rush!' by AnyStone! is a tower defense game for the Commodore Plus/4 and presumably the first one for the system. It was made for for theCommodore Plus/4 game development competition - 2024/2025. It's a real time strategy game, where you must defend your kingdom from trolls, orcs and cyclopes by placing towers and upgrading them. Hordes of enemies are trying to get through your defences, if three of them make it, you fail. Earn stars for each successfully completed level, and use the stars to purchase further upgrades.

The third update of the year at GTW64 has more C64 goodness in the form of 4 new entries and 14 pre-existing entries updated. This includes the wonderful recent Codemasters recovery of Magnum Force, an early Ocean game that transferred to Cascade,recovery of the PHM Pegasus - Advanced Battle Disk (thanks to HOK/Remember) and a mega ton of development assets added to Mag Max V1!
