04.11.2021 - New VIC-20 game 'Vegetables Deluxe' finally released
As announced in October: 'Vegetables Deluxe' for VIC-20 is out now. This is a port of the C64, Amiga and Spectrum puzzle game Vegetables by Mike Richmond for the VIC-20. It was converted over a year ago with the aim of a physical release, however as that has stalled we have decided to release it for free with the option of making a donation if you wish, to be shared between Mike and the author.

04.11.2021 - Black Screen VIC-20 Repair (And Start Sequence Exploration) - new video from 'Noel's Retro Lab'
Today's goal is to repair a VIC-20 with a black screen. Along the way Noel makes some incorrect assumptions that take him off track for a bit. But eventually he corrects course and double-check those assumptions.

Now "Hit Song" is kind of kidding. This one line program makes random sounds out of the Commodore 64 SID Chip. There's alot of buzzes and beeps so I thought, "Why not pair it with an instrumental and PSYCHEDELIC imagery and see what happens.

02.11.2021 - Amiga port of 'Jackal' is on its way - third demo version available and ready for download and play
Jackal, also distributed under the title of Top Gunner, is an overhead run'n gun-style shoot-'em-up video game by Konami released for the arcades in 1986. A third demo version is now available. A lot has changed since v2: - fully working menu including intro with music (wait 7 seconds to see the intro). - updated credits. - 2 mission complete screens (depends on the powerup you have at the end of the level). - mission results screen. - loading indicator. - updated music. In Game: -fixed collisions with rocks. - tileset dept (can drive behind palms or walls). - animated shooting turrets. - all powerups implemented. - deploy pows to copter. - complete basic boss fight (still a bit buggy but fully playable). - a lot of optimizations and bug fixes
