'Kung Fu Flash' Firmware v1.27 released
'Kung Fu Flash' is a cartridge for the Commodore 64 by Kim Jorgensen that packs a punch. It can emulate different cartridge types, load PRG files and use D64 disk images. Just place your desired CRT, PRG or D64 files on a FAT formatted microSD card and use the built-in launcher to execute them. New in this update: - Add simple diagnostic tool. It is started by pressing the menu button for 2 seconds (until the LED turns off) and is intended to help debug stability problems on some C64 models. The tool can also be started in a USB only mode if Kung Fu Flash refuses to start at all. In this mode debug data is send via USB only and the C64 should start normally (boot to Basic). This mode is started by pressing both the special and menu button for 2 seconds, then releasing the menu button followed by the special button

Jackal, also distributed under the title of Top Gunner, is an overhead run'n gun-style shoot-'em-up video game by Konami released for the arcades in 1986. Amiga game 'Pacman 500' released
This is a (successful) attempt by jotd to create a 1:1 port of the famous arcade game on Amiga 500 using 100% 68k assembly. The display is 4:3 so scores, lives, bonuses are on the side rather than on top/botton. The gameplay layout is 1:1 vs the original, though. Requires: - Any kickstart, 1MB memory (could be reduced to 512k with lower quality sounds). The game can be obtained as digital download for free.

Little update on of WIP Amiga game 'Wizonk'
Work was done on the base 4player mode on and off, then eventually a campaign mode for proper release will be added, as well as likely the multiplayer side gets improvment. Still much of what's to be seen is placeholder graphics. Keep in mind that the main project of the developer is the promising 'Creeping Me Out: Hex Night' and Wizonk is very experimental and partly a learning exercise for him..
Axis/Cascade is no more. We are all still shaken by the unexpected death of our friend and group mate Patrick aka Axis/Cascade. We wanted to express our sorrow, so I coded a little intro, which you can find in the C64 demo section of this page. The following text is a rough excerpt taken from the scroller:
Dear Patrick, may this be the condolence from the the group that was co-founded by you long time ago. We want to give you our last salute. I (Zeldin) know how much you were breathing the spirit of the scene. That's why I thought a goodbye demo would have made you happy. You and me exchanged lots of mails about how much we both enjoyed the good ol' days and of course: how much we miss them... It was this tie that emotionally connected us for over 15 years. Thanks for all your help in supporting the group and your indefatigable endeavour in spreading our name. Your tattoos were legendary! Thanks for your work on fb and youtube. Your channels were appreciated by a lot of people. Thanks for being such a good chap. You'll be sorely missed!!!
Mach's gut, Patrick... den Adler im Herzen, sge4ever!
