The sixth update of the year for the ever-growing Commodore 64 archive at 'Games That Weren't 64' (GTW64), with 3 new entries, including Dominion (a long lost shooter), details about a Stephen Hendry snooker game from Zeppelin that fell through and a rather risqué adventure game which many feel could have been a fake.

More footage of a WIP Amiga port of Track & Field, also known as Hyper Olympic, an Olympic-themed sports arcade game by Konami released in 1983. 3 first events of the game. No sound. All 6 events work but it's a tough game and developer couldn't get past the javelin stage this time.

28.06.2025 - Amiga game 'Krogharr – The Beerserker!' released
'Krogharr – The Beerserker!' is a side-scrolling beat 'em up game for Amiga with similarities to 'Golden Axe', made by the makers of horizontal SHMUP 'Inviyya'. It features: - four hand pixeled levels, - amazing six depth layers of parallax and line scrolling, - each level has its own unique enemies and dangers, - Beerzerk mode if you drink too much, - eight mid and end bosses. The game was released as digital version for a fair price, and you can also pre-order a boxed Collectors Edition from poly.play.

Taito released the original Space Invaders arcade game in 1978, and as a high school student Satoshi Matsuoka created a masterpiece replica of Space Invaders for the Commodore PET in 1980. 'Space Invaders 2' is an updated version of Professor Matsuoka's original PET game that more closely matches the gameplay of Taito's 1979 updated Part II version. Originally for the PET/CBM Series of computers, and now available on C64 with this port by Milasoft.

Today Neil of 'The Retro Collective' revisits what always felt like a missed opportunity, and find a surprisingly up-to-date alternative, before embarking on my attempt to write something resembling a game.
