10.07.2023 - Amiga game 'Pengo500' released
Pengo is an arcade video game developed by Coreland and published by Sega. Now an Amiga port is finished, which is a transcode from the original arcade game Z80 to 68K assembly. You can get the game as digital download for little money (name your own price) to support the developer.

10.07.2023 - Cracking a C64 Game From Cassette: Livingstone, I Presume? - video from '8-Bit Show And Tell'
In a previous video we took a look at the crash in the Commodore 64 port of the Operasoft game "Livingstone, I Presume?", unraveling the cause of the crash and coming up with a live-patch to fix the problem. This time we learn how to "crack" the game from the original cassette so we can patch the game and save it to disk permanently fixed, rather than having to re-patch the game every time it's loaded. Check the video description for links to everything I reference.

04.07.2023 - 'Tomato Worm' game for Plus/4 and VIC-20 released - free for download
'Tomato Worm' is a brand new from javierglez: Tomato Worm. It's an implementation of the puzzle game by the same name, original written by GuerraGames. Puzzle through 64 levels in this nibbler style game by guiding your ever-growing worm; make sure to eat all the tomatoes before you run out of room to move. The Plus/4 disk image for download also contains the VIC-20 version.

02.07.2023 - Amiga WIP game 'Rastan' - demo for download available
After the first WIP video of Rastan for Amiga, there is now a demo available for download. Released in arcades in 1987, Taito’s Rastan was one of the best fantasy action-platformers of its time. Now, after eight months down in the basement, the Amiga version of Rastan emerges. This is a demo of the first level, featuring remastered sprites and brand new, reimagined backgrounds, all running on a stock Amiga 500 with 512kb extra ram!

01.07.2023 - 'Dagon's Erwachen' - German version of RPG 'Dagon's Awakening' for C64 released
'Dagon's Awakening', a action adventure/RPG Dagon's Awakening by Vintage Computing Carinthia was recently released as Community Edition at the Vintage Computing Carinthia $1F. This version features several improvements over the cartridge version and has the story and the game contents changed so that the game is self-contained, while the cartridge version requires a physical postcard item to play the game properly. And right now you can get the game also in German language as free digital download.
