23.12.2022 - Long lost C64 title 'Lordsfire' preserved and available for download
Lordsfire is a title by Jeremy Walker, who had previously produced Envahi on the VIC-20 for Virgin Games in 1983 and then ported to C64. In the game, you were to control a young Lord of the castle-in-the-sky, where you have inherited a mighty winged steed and a powerful fire-staff, but more importantly the hand of a beautiful princess in marriage. Virgin Games sadly reject the game. Rotting away on a disk for 38 years, Jeremy managed to find a copy of his game and kindly sent it over to Games That Weren't 64 (GTW64) to fully preserve after Simon Birrell put them in touch. So now for the first time in almost 40 years, you can play this multi-part game from 1984 that never was

The hillbilly restaurants need your help. Their customers are hungry and impatient, so get in the kitchen and start making sandwiches! The High Voltage SID Collection (HVSC) is a freeware hobby project which organizes Commodore 64 music (also known as SID music) into an archive for both musicians and fans alike. Right before Christmas we get another update of HVSC. The collection now contains 56.665 SIDs. This time we have added 890 new SID tunes, 26 fixed tunes and 217 credit fixes.

This is a free and unofficial remake of the PC-DOS version of Turrican 2 for the AGA Amigas (A1200/A4000/CD32), reprogrammed from scratch and not associated with Factor 5. Features: - 50/60hz action. All worlds. All enemies. All bosses. - Full use of AGA enhanced 24 bit / 256 colour modes. - The original games glorious music and sound effects. - Support for 2 button joysticks, CD32 joypads and user definable controls. - Three additional difficulty modes. - Built-in trainer mode. - Option to replace the DOS character sprite with the Amiga version. - Option to look down to see blind jumps and Gyro Jump controls enhancement. - Restored parallax to Worlds 2-1, 2-2, 3-2 and 4-1 (missing in the DOS version), animated cogs from World 4, underwater effects from World 1 and background scrolling in Worlds 3-2 and 3-3 boss fights. - Hiscores and options are saved (WHDLoad and A500 Mini versions). - Enhanced secrets.
