The Amiga demoscene thrived and evolved, and this book chronicles many of the scene’s favourites from multiple groups through interviews with their creators: coders, producers, artists, musicians from many countries are included. 450 full colour gloss pages in a quality hardback binding. Demoscene the Amiga years reflects the making of the best demos as well as the history of the most emblematic and best known groups of the demoscene. Discover numerous pictures of demos through more than 450 pages as well as contributions of “scenersâ€. This book is the first volume covering the years 1984 to 1993 with about 90 demos amongst the most famous and popular ones.

This is an experimental core, and while the developer does his utmost to make sure it works for everyone and will try to help solve any problems that arise, you run this core entirely at your own risk. 'Chameleon' is an extremely user-friendly multipurpose C64 cartridge that can be used without opening the computer. It is just plugged to the expansion port of the C64. It can also be operated as a stand-alone unit (since it's basically an FPGA computer like the C-One in a C64 cartridge case) and fired with cores of 8/16-bit home computers and consoles.

In the 13th century, the Cathars, clerics who preached about the poverty of Christ and defended life without material aspirations, were treated as heretics by the Catholic Church and expelled out of the Languedoc region in France. One of them, called Jean Raymond, found an old church in which to hide from crusaders, not knowing that beneath its ruins lay buried an ancient evil. Featuring: - Hi-resolution Graphics - An amazing soundtrack by Gryzor and Saul Cross - 20 challenging rooms - 14 Different types of enemies - A dragon! - Secrets passages and a hidden room - PAL / NTSC compatible!

'Bean Vs The Animator' is coming this summer to the Commodore Amiga. It is inspired by the classic arcade game Terminator 2: Judgement Day and even supports the new Sinden light gun. Watch AmigaBill blast his way out of the factory and into the streets in an effort to save the human race from the robot overlords. BvA will work on OCS and AGA Amigas with 1MB of Chip RAM and 512K of Fast RAM - ECS chipset and above, or OSC with fatter Agnus. There are 6 levels and the same can be played with 2 simultaneous players.

'Project Horizon' is an 8-way scrolling top down shooter sci-fi game for Amiga in the style of 'Alien Syndrome' and similar. The player is a NASA astronaut on the Moon (1977 - alternate timeline) who finds himself in a war situation. The game is still under development. The now offered download contains a new bugfixed demo version for the game. Watch a video for 'Project Horizon' trailer here.

Axis/Cascade is no more. We are all still shaken by the unexpected death of our friend and group mate Patrick aka Axis/Cascade. We wanted to express our sorrow, so I coded a little intro, which you can find in the C64 demo section of this page. The following text is a rough excerpt taken from the scroller:
Dear Patrick, may this be the condolence from the the group that was co-founded by you long time ago. We want to give you our last salute. I (Zeldin) know how much you were breathing the spirit of the scene. That's why I thought a goodbye demo would have made you happy. You and me exchanged lots of mails about how much we both enjoyed the good ol' days and of course: how much we miss them... It was this tie that emotionally connected us for over 15 years. Thanks for all your help in supporting the group and your indefatigable endeavour in spreading our name. Your tattoos were legendary! Thanks for your work on fb and youtube. Your channels were appreciated by a lot of people. Thanks for being such a good chap. You'll be sorely missed!!!
