08.05.2023 - Multi platform game 'Space Cavern Blaster' released
Space Cavern Blaster is a proof of concept for a cross-platform platformer for Amiga 500, Atari ST, C64, DOS and Sega Megadrive. (HTML5 and Windows versions will be uploaded at a later time). The game is tagged as V0.1 and is more of a tech demo, but you can get a playable release as digital download for a bargain (name your own price).

07.05.2023 - C64 game 'Aztec Tomb' released
'Aztec Tomb' is an entry for the Retro Platform Jam #6. You explore an underground aztec tomb, looking for an ancient relic. Survive cunning puzzles and traps. The game currently has a measly 7 stages, but hopefully there'll be more, so it's more of a preview. You can get it as digital download for a bargain (name your own price).

06.05.2023 - C64 game 'The Last Defender' released
'The Last Defender' is a single screen shooter with slight reminiscences to the classic arcade Pang. Use the laser gun at your disposal to hit the enemy on top of you. However, keep in mind that with each shot, the gun temporarily loses energy. So use it in moderation if you don't want to risk being defenseless in the most critical moments. You can get the game as digital download for a bargain (name your own price).

30.04.2023 - C64 game 'Jump'n Crate' released - free for download
'Jump'n Crate' is a fast-paced platform game. The objective of the game is to collect all the crates before the time runs out. The duration is decreased by time as well as collecting anti-crates (distorted ones) or getting hits by the robots and their bullets. However, collecting time capsules increase the time left (though not fully). If all 5 levels are completed, the time left provides extra points.

Grey is an FPS for C64 in development. There are now four weapons in the game (they are not balanced yet): chainsaw, pistol, shotgun and chaingun

29.04.2023 - C64 game 'TextQuest' released
'TextQuest' is an oldschool text adventure for C64, which tries to recreate the atmosphere of the very first text-based RPGs that appeared on the PLATO platform. We take on the role of the hero of the moment, engaged in the exploration of a dungeon full of monsters, but don't worry: in the various rooms you can find some objects that will be a conspicuous aid for the success of the mission. The game is available in English or Italian as digital version for a bargain (name your own price).

28.04.2023 - 'Zeta Wing 2' for C64 released
The eagerly awaited vertical shoot-em-up 'Zeta Wing 2' by Sarah Jane Avory (Briley Witch Chronicles, Neutron) is finally released and available as digital download for a very fair price. The sequel of the award winning Zeta Wing features: -7 challenging stages, each with their own graphic style. - 3 difficulty settings: Easy, Normal, Hard. - Lots of parallax scrolling. - 12 player weapon upgrades. - 7 end of stage bosses. - PAL and NTSC compatible. - Simultaneous music and sound effects. - Supports C64GS joysticks with 2nd button. - Save/load settings and high score table to cartridge (.crt version) or disk; settings will auto-load on startup.

27.04.2023 - Update of WIP Amiga game 'Settle the World' (270423) released
Settle the World is a turn-based building and trading game with a focus on local multiplayer (up to four players on one Amiga computer), which you can download for free. You will have to found settlements, build roads, establish trade relations with your fellow player, explore the map and sometimes send soldiers to war. In the next version of the game, it will be possible to send units directly to a specific city. This feature is also available in the original game "Colonization" and was requested by some players.

26.04.2023 - 'Games That Weren't 64' (GTW64) - April 2023 updates
A much larger update this month, as there was a lot of corrections and fixes done to some old posts, but GTW also has 7 completely new entries too to further increase the size of the C64 archive. Won’t be long until the GTW database hit the 3000 mark!
