10.02.2022 - 'Akumajou Dracula' - a Castlevania port for Amiga - new prototype demo version available
This WIP port of Castlevania for Amiga could be the next great project after Green Beret port. New in this update: - Added the famous "Vampire Killer" soundtrack, which is the correct one for this game and stage, replacing the previous one. A great Paula 4 channels rendition by the talented musician Estrayk/Capsule^Scoopex, based on the original by Satoe Terashima. - Fixed an issue with jumping whip attacks. Now it'll be easier to hit high candles. - Press and Hold attack button to throw knives (when available), for those who don't have 3 buttons CD32 compatible pad.

Green Beret, also known as Rush'N Attack, is a Konami game released in 1985 on the arcades and later ported to several home systems. But it was never released for the Amiga back then. Updated February 08, 2022: - Added better siren sounds at the beginning. No loading pause for boss music at boss truck. Some other fixes and improvements. Updated February 06, 2022: - Added BGM 2, which is the music track that will play on stages 2 and 4. Updated February 05, 2022: - the higher jump added in February 03 update ruins the game for many people: it defeats the purpose of ladders, since you can simply jump to reach another floor.

The MiST BBC Micro core is an experimental core, and while the developer will do his utmost to make sure it works for everyone and will try to help solve any problems that arise, you run this core entirely at your own risk.

The Machinations is an automation puzzle game for C64. Transport the binary cell from the source to the target using the modules at your disposal. The game is a remake of The Sequence by One Man Band. The preview version for download contains 2 module types, 10 levels, and quite possibly, bugs. The full version of the game will feature six module types, around 40 levels including sandbox levels, sound effects, and (hopefully) no bugs. The planned release date is towards the end of March.

04.02.2022 - 'Amiga 2000 EATX PCB' revision 2.2 released
The purpose of this project is to develop an open source Amiga 2000 PCB in the EATX form factor, an ATX variant that allows slightly deeper PCBs. There are one-to-one board replacement projects for the Amiga 2000, but none to change the layout to meet current form factor standards. In addition, the Amiga 2000 made use of connectors and custom parts that are no longer commercially manufactured. This often requires parts to be pulled from existing machines. As such, this project will make use of only actively supported components when possible. New in Rev. 2.1: - This revision adds a TICK header with three options for generating a TICK signal.

Robin bought a box of Commodore books. After having a look at the unusual postage, we take a look through the box contents, and then focus on two books in particular. They're the Tool Kit series by Dan Heeb, which are very in-depth looks through the BASIC and KERNAL ROMs, with a focus on making use of these routines in our own machine language programs for both the Commodore 64 and VIC-20.
