29.07.2023 - Best Ever VIC-20 Cart? Penultimate+2 - video from '8-Bit Show And Tell'One Commodore VIC-20 cartridge to rule them all? Tynemouth Software and The Future Was 8-Bit have teamed up to make the Penultimate+2 cartridge which contains over 200 VIC-20 games spanning from the original games made in Japan by Hal Laboratory in 1980 to modern games made in the present day. In addition it contains useful utilities, programming languages, diagnostic tools, flexible software-controlled RAM upgrades and even more. In this first video we have a look at a fraction of the games available. We'll follow up in another video with a detailed look at all the rest of the cartridge's features.

27.07.2023 - 'Kung Fu Flash' Firmware v1.46 released'Kung Fu Flash' is a cartridge for the Commodore 64 by Kim Jorgensen that packs a punch. It can emulate different cartridge types, load PRG files and use D64 disk images. Just place your desired CRT, PRG or D64 files on a FAT formatted microSD card and use the built-in launcher to execute them. New in Update 1.46: - Simple text file reader. It is now possible to open small text files from the launcher.
26.07.2023 - 'Games That Weren't 64' (GTW64) - July 2023 updatesThe months are flying fast, and now its time for our July 2023 update for the GTW64 archives with two new additions, including an unnamed Andrew Braybrook game and a potential title where music was composed by Tim/Geoff Follin. GTW64 also has 16 pre-existing entries which have been updated too.

22.07.2023 - C64 game 'Chaluul's Curse' released - free for download"Chaluul's Curse" is a C64 port of a PC adventure that was on the cover CD of issue 11/95 of the German computer games magazine "PC Spiel". The C64 version was created by Sönke Wolfgramm using the D42 Adventure System by Stephan Lesch and Tobias Erbsland. The game is also available as German version.
22.07.2023 - C64 game 'Dig Dug Revival' released - free for downloadThis game is a homage to Dig Dug, an arcade game developed by Namco in 1982. In this version, the playfields are generated randomly. The game works perfectly on both PAL and NTSC models.
