26.09.2023 - Plus/4 port of 'The Empire Strikes Back' released - free for download
'Empire Strikes Back' was originally released back in 1982 by The Parker Brothers and was only available on two popular gaming consoles at this time, the Atari 2600 and the Intellivison. 40 years later Megastyle a brilliant C64 version, which was now ported to Plus/4. Take part in the Battle of Hoth: fly around with your snowspeeder and drive back the 8 waves of the relentless Imperial attack.

24.09.2023 - Plus/4 port of 'Lancess Priya' released - free for download
'Lancess Priya' is a game inspired by the Atari's "Star Wars" coin-op (1983), but with characters instead of vectors. this an adaptation from the same author of the C64 version (Dr. TerrorZ, who also brought us 'Digiloi' and 'Fort Django'), which won the WiLD Demo Competition at Vammala Party 2023.

23.09.2023 - 'Kung Fu Flash' Firmware v1.48 released
'Kung Fu Flash' is a cartridge for the Commodore 64 by Kim Jorgensen that packs a punch. It can emulate different cartridge types, load PRG files and use D64 disk images. Just place your desired CRT, PRG or D64 files on a FAT formatted microSD card and use the built-in launcher to execute them. New in Update 1.48: - Improve disk emulation to support saving high scores in Lode Runner.

19.09.2023 - C64 game 'Magic Math' released - free for download
'Magic Math' is a small mathematical skill game, which is also suitable for 2 players and compo. In this game you control a small rectangle with which you have to catch passing numbers. These are added to or subtracted from the value in your rectangle, and you have to make sure that this value never goes below 0 or above 9. The levels get faster and faster, so be careful.

16.09.2023 - Video: 'Krogharr' for Amiga OCS
This video shows the first presentation of 'Krogharr' for the Amiga OCS range of computers (Amiga 500, 1000, 600, 3000) and upwards. Game runs in steady 50 fps on every vanilla machine with 512k/512, so please tick the "1080p60fps quality" option in the video viewer to see the smoothness. Music and sound effects are muted, and you might see some tiny glitches here and there, since it's still heavy W.I.P.

16.09.2023 - GTW64: Mountain Valley Software unreleased C64 games
Great news at 'Games That Weren't 64' (GTW64): A bonus post to finish the week. Recently Fabrizio Bartoloni flagged up someone called BloodyCactus looking at an unreleased C64 adventure game called 'The Mermaid and the Crown'. Whilst looking into details to try and add entries onto the site, via the CASA Solution Archive we found that there were about 5 other adventure titles by Mountain Valley Software that were also never completed and released. These are: 'The Curse of Cranbury Manor', 'Sorcerers of Ravenswood', 'Crypt', 'Ophir' and 'Treasure of Dead Man’s Cay'.

'Mansion of madness' is a Visual Novel made in AmiBlitz3. You have been hired by a reporter Erica to search for a missing YouTuber Jasko. He went in to investigate on the myth of a demonic entity. Now he's missing! The game is made for AmigaOS3.x and requires min. CPU 20 MIPS, 30MB RAM and RTG 640 x 360. You can get it as digital hd download for little money.to support the developer.

14.09.2023 - Amiga game 'ASM - Das Computer-Spiel - The Director's Cut' (German version) released
A normal day in the editorial office of the "ASM". You are the editor-in-chief, Manfred "Manni" Kleimann. You wake up at your desk and realize: you have lost your memory. Who are all these strangers? And what does the magazine's comic mascot "Space-Rat" have to do with all of this? Originated from a coding contest in 1991 it is now - just 32 years later - finished: The graphic adventure about the German cult video game magazine "ASM"! It is 1991. You can get the game as nice boxed version with manual and goodies.

13.09.2023 - C64 game 'QIXSCII' released - free for download
'QIXSCII' is a PETSCII version of Qix, an early 80's arcade game by Taito where you have to draw lines that close off parts of the rectangle to fill in a set amount of the playfield. QIXSCII was made in BASIC V2 code and you can get as digital download. Also as Blitz compiled version is available.

13.09.2023 - Amiga game 'Invanoid' released as playable beta
This video shows 'Invanoid', a combination of Invaders and Arkanoid for the Amiga. The game is in the making for a while, but now a beta version can be downloaded and played. Links are in the video description.

13.09.2023 - 'Super Monza Grand GP2' for Vic-20 released and free for download
This is a racing game for the 32K expanded Commodore VIC 20. It expands on the the original game by adding three more circuits (Monaco, Spa and Interlagos). Race for position or race against the clock. PAL or NTSC.

11.09.2023 - Amiga game 'Boxx 2 Remake V0.1' released - free for download
Boxx 2 Remake is a platform game for Commodore Amiga (Minimum system: A500/1MB). The original game from 2015 is now now remade with Scorpion Engine and has upgraded graphics. This is the beta version so please report any bugs. All feedback is welcome.

11.09.2023 - Tiki Project - New C64 game - Boomerang Boy Preview
Another preview of the re-imagining of the Tiki character from The New Zealand Story in a brand new C64 game being developed by Robert Wilson. This brief video discusses Boomerang Boy from the arcade game, a new secondary objective and some other new features I've introduced into the game.
