13.04.2024 - 'Prince of Persia' port for VIC-20 (+35k) released - free for download
The famous 'Prince of Persia' by Jordan Mechner already got some impressive 8-bit versions, now there is one more. Given the difference in available RAM many simplifications had to be done. This is clearly noticeable in the movements (not as smooth as the original) and, especially, in the sword fighting. Besides this, this VIC-20 version includes 9 levels (these try to be similar to the 9 first levels of the original version) plus the final scene with the Princess.
