24.04.2020 - New epsiode: 'Jan Beta' - Amiga 1000 Restoration - Part 2
'Jan Beta' continues his Amiga 1000 restoration. In this episode, he fixes some factory flaws on the board, replaces the noisy fan in the power supply, cleans and lubricates the disk drive and repairs the case.

23.04.2020 - SuperClone 5.0 - a clone of the Super Snapshot v5 cartridge for C64
This clone of the Super Snapshot v5 hardware was recently presented on GitHub. All of the traces are close to the original and it will fit in the same case as an original. It uses an Atmel ATF16V8B in the place of the original PAL. All of the parts, including the Atmel are interchangeable with an original. It's also included the WinCUPL source files and a DigiKey bill of materials.

20.04.2020 - New footage of WIP C64 game 'Parallaxian'
This video shows Parallaxian's Level 2 landscape preview. The re-coded vertical parallax effect, now expanded to 16 pixels of vertical travel in the foreground. And lots of non-standard colours, including a "mist" effect in the foreground and heat haze behind the distant rocks.

20.04.2020 - New C64 game 'Holcan - Warrior of the Sun' announced
Video footage shows a very first work in progress step of 'Holcan - Warrior of the Sun', a C64 game, that is obviously inspired by C64 classic 'The Last Ninja'. The video might be short and only presents the engine for screen setup but it already looks great. Hopefully more will come... Get some further info here.

20.04.2020 - VIC 20 game 'Ten Ten' released on itch.io
Ten Ten is a simple puzzle game exploring relationships. It is made with 3 kilobytes for the unexpanded Commodore Vic-20. Developed with a personal theme in mind, this game was intended for a custom arcade cabinet.

18.04.2020 - Video shows WIP of Amiga game 'Svlcvss d'
Footage shows a little demo of an Amiga game with the strange name 'Svlcvss d', seemingly a 3D tunnel shooter. Statement of the developer: I had some time these days so I used some of their assets to whip up this demo that I had lying around for quiet some time in some semi-playable form. 18.04.2020 - Unreleased Amiga game 'Swidron' popped up on the net
'Swidron' is a Boulder Dash variant from 'BiSoft' made in 1994 but never released until this week. As a miner the player must collect the designated number of diamonds in an abandoned mine and reach the exit doors before the time runs out. The task is made difficult by falling rocks and growing magma. The equipment includes cement bags and explosives.

18.04.2020 - V1 of Raemixx500 finished - a remake of the Commodore Amiga 500+ mainboard
Many Amiga 500+ computers are suffering an early death because of the built-in barrel battery that powers their internal real-time clocks. Amiga mainboards haven't been produced for the last 30 years, but they are relatively simple by today's standards, thus the 'Raemixx500' project to was started. There are other projects like this one out there, but none of them is Open Source and none of them comes with both schematics and board.

'SIDCloud' by the guys from 'Samar Productions' is a site for streaming SIDs for those who like to be on time with the latest productions on C64. The site uses the largest and best production database csdb.dk as a data source. You won't find here SID collections like HVSC or DEEPSID, you won't find SID search and playlist options. 'SIDCloud' is pure streaming only of the latest productions released on csdb.dk.

16.04.2020 - More footage - 'Fix-it Felix Jr' for Commodore 64
This is the third WIP video for the coming C64 conversion of 'Fix It Felix Jr.', the game that was featured in the film 'Wreck It Ralph'. The whole project is seemingly now feature complete, and should be released shortly. In this video we see a run through in a full game on a medium difficulty setting.

15.04.2020 - Demoversion of 'Tiny little Slug' for Amiga released
If you want to get an impression of how 'Tiny little Slug' is playing, there is now the possibility to download a disk image with a demoversion. This Classic Amiga game is available either on CD, floppy disks or as a download file. A basic Amiga 500 is sufficient to enjoy playing it, though more expanded 68k Amiga systems or a CD32 are also supported. The game can be ordered here.
