25.05.2020 - Mini PET announced - a modern take on the Commodore PET 2001'The Future was 8bit' has just announced the release of a new retro computer, called the Mini PET, which is a fully functional 6502 based computer, compatible with a Commodore PET 2001N-32. It presents one quarter of the size and the tenth of the power consumption of the original 40-year-old computer. Mini PET can be pre-ordered in the 'TFW8b' Shop.

22.05.2020 - Improved demo version for Amiga port of the oldie game 'Tapper' released'Tapper' is a true arcade classic from Bally Midway, which was already available on nearly all 8-Bit machines in the 80s. Now the game will be ported to Amiga. The game is still in development, but now there is an improved demo version for download that can be played.

21.05.2020 - New c64 game in progressCarl-Henrik Skarstedt, the maker of 'Space Mogul' is currently working on a 512k cartridge game, which looks a lot like an open world, strategic simulation in the style of Pirates. You can see the progress of the engine in his videos. The latest shows the inclusion of a dialogue system.
20.05.2020 - Video shows pseudo mode7 racer engine concept for C64This footage is from spring 2019 and was recently reuploaded. It shows a demo of a racing game engine, that reminds of games like 'Mario Kart'. It's running on real c64 with Easyflash cartridge (which banks in up to 1MB of read-only memory without own external computing capabilities) and looks great. Let's hope the developers go further with this...

It offers: 50fps 3D precalc anim, Hires sprites, Cutscene cinematics, exclusive new remix of Aztec Chllenge's music on CD. And probably the best thing: the developer announces, that he maybe will make other levels, so give him some positive feedback.
