01.01.2021 - C64 game 'Soul Force' - Full Version Now Available!
We know that you have all been eager to finally play our latest space shooter - Soul Force by Sarah Jane Avory. There have been some hiccups in bringing this to you over the past few days but the good news is that you can now download the full digital version from the Protovision Shop. Also don’t forget that you can still order your Collector’s Cartridge edition of Soul Force (includes the digital download) from there. 30.12.2020 - 'Kung Fu Flash' Firmware v1.20 released
'Kung Fu Flash' is a cartridge for the Commodore 64 by Kim Jorgensen that packs a punch. It can emulate different cartridge types, load PRG files and use D64 disk images. Just place your desired CRT, PRG or D64 files on a FAT formatted microSD card and use the built-in launcher to execute them. New in this update: - Add file search feature. - Hide dot files.

26.12.2020 - VIC-20 game 'Cheesy Trials' released
'Cheesy Trials' is a tiny platform game for the VIC-20 (+16k RAM expansion), that was made for TheC64 Winter Game Development competition. You are Echo the Mouse, a cloned mouse tormented by a mad scientist to complete three experiments. Each experiment is made up of a number of rooms. You are dropped into a room with some cheese. Collect all the cheese and get to the exit before the time is up. But all is not as it seems. Your world will change with each piece of cheese collected. Each room is devilishly designed to test your intelligence, dexterity and luck.

Wow, what a result! The Protopad Crowd Funding campaign has now ended and it was possible to raise in excess of 15,000 Euros. This means that not only are we getting a multi-button controller and a re-configured version of Sam’s Journey but we are now also going to produce new paddles for the C64!

25.12.2020 - Unreleased C64 game 'Trooper' preserved and released on GTW64
Many of you will have played the wonderful Barbarian 2 by Rob Stevens, and maybe even read the excellent feature with him in FREEZE64 about the game. Whilst talking to Rob, Vinny Mainolfi of FREEZE64 discovered that Rob was sitting on a complete game that never saw the light of day called Trooper. This was Rob’s first proper C64 development when he was around 17/18 years old and likely what he showed to Palace to get his position at the company and the gig on Barbarian 2. Rob kindly dug out a copy of the game and sent to Vinny to try and get up and running again and preserve.

25.12.2020 - C64 game 'Zzapped in the Butt - Deluxe' released
Another title by 'The New Dimension'. This is the final full version of what was originally a 4KB game creation. Due to the limitations of 4K, various in game elements were missing. So now a special deluxe edition of the game is finished and consists of the following. This game is also available as digital version, free for download.

25.12.2020 - 'Zap Fight Trilogy' by Psytronic for C64 released
Alf Yngve blasts back onto the C64 with another fantastic compilation of action-packed shoot 'em ups! Jump into your trusty Zap Fighter and blast your way through THREE exciting games packed with zapping action, power-ups and plenty of air and ground-based targets to obliterate!
