16.12.2020 - C64 title 'Tomb Chaser 2020' released
'Tomb Chaser 2020' is a remastered version of the game 'Tomb Chaser' from 2019. Whilst the engine is still BASIC V2, the former PETSCII graphics are exchanged with charset graphics. Instead of 10 "monotone" tombs, there are now 8 graphically different tombs and 3 game modes. Plus saved Highscore and game settings. Furthermore Turbo Mode of an Ultimate64 is supported (switch "U64 Turbo Registers" on and leave "CPU speed" at 1 MHz). The game can be downloaded for free.

16.12.2020 - New C64 game 'Chiller 2' released
'Chiller 2' is a faithful, well designed prequel of the oldie C64 game 'Chiller', a one-screen, multi-level game from1984, made by the The Darling Brother's and released by Mastertronic. 'Chiller 2' was made by 'aNdy/AL/Cosine' and can be downloaded for free.

15.12.2020 - New C64 game 'Oyup!' released and available as free download
'Oyup!' is a fast-paced bean-juggling puzzle gameplay of the SEGA Megadrive games Puyo Puyo 2 / Dr Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. Now on C64 for the first time. Connect four or more beans of the same colour to clear them from the grid. Set up elaborate combos to send rocks to your opponents' side and ruin their carefully laid plans, or to avert rocks about to drop on yours! If your third column from the next fills up to the top, you lose.

15.12.2020 - New C64 title 'Space Planters' released
'Space Planters' is a puzzle game for the C64, that was made for TheC64 Winter Game Development competition, featuring graphics and audio by Martin and Vivi. You are presented with a small void of deep Space segmented into a 6x6 grid. You have two items to choose from and pressing RETURN will switch them, with fire placing it in your chosen segment.

15.12.2020 - 'Footy' - tech demo for C64 football game released
After some football player sprites were made for Commodore 64, Martin Piper did a quick tech demo, that you can download here. If you like this demo, then please do send a donation as it indicates interest in a particular project.

14.12.2020 - New C64 game 'Tiny Quest' available as Ultimate Bundle Limited Edition - Tape and Disk
Tiny Quest is a game that requires lightning-fast reflexes, excellent memory, advanced planning skills, perfect timing and (a lot of) self control. Far, Far Away… There exists a weird and wonderful world of right-angles and crazy geometry. In this land populated by square trees, square clouds and square people, Mr Cube has fallen in love. However, our hero’s love interest is on the opposite side of the world – and between them lies a land full of hazards, obstacles and dangerous critters! Tape and Disk version of the game is aimed to be shipped by the end of January 2021. No DIGITAL DOWNLOAD of the game will be available until shipping of the physical copies has started.

13.12.2020 - New VIC-20 game 'Fall ' released
Another adaption by Eric Majikeyric that was also written for TheC64 Winter Game Development competition. 'Fall' is a pacey reaction game. two players are moving quickly downwards and must avoid the deadly rotating blades that appear below them by switching to the opposing wall. 13.12.2020 - New VIC-20 game 'Jump' released
This is a 'Make Them Jump' version for the VIC-20 by Eric Majikeyric.Written for TheC64 Winter Game Development competition. Jump is a twist on the one buttoned runner style games popular on mobile devices. But rather than just one player, you control two in a split-screen affair. You must time each leap for both players to navigate a randomly generated terrain ahead. You can download the .d64 here.

12.12.2020 - C64 game 'The Great Washing Machine King' released
'The Great Washing Machine King' is a C64 port of a recently released ZX Spectrum 'platformer collect 'em up' game. Just like in the original, the goal in this 64 port of the game is to visit all the screens of Laundryland and pick up the Number Threes in all of them. The task is made more difficult by the various nasties which you should try to avoid bumping into in order not to run out of your 16 lives.
