Trick Shoot-TEN is a 10-line BASIC game for the Commodore 64 by Jim Happel, entered in the BASIC 10-Liner Competition. As a surprise, David Youd produced a boxed cartridge version of the game, and Robin from '8-Bit Show And Tell' was fortunate enough to get a copy. So we'll take a look at the box, cartridge, play the game, look at Jim's BASIC code, and look at the machine language solution David came up with to get the BASIC program to run from a cartridge.

Just place your desired CRT, PRG or D64 files on a FAT formatted microSD card and use the built-in launcher to execute them. 23.04.2021 - Bitcoin Mining on the Commodore 64? - new Video from '8-Bit Show And Tell'
Can we strike it rich using "Bitcoin Miner 64" by YTM/Elysium on the Commodore 64? We'll even pull out the SuperCPU 20MHz 65816 processor upgrade to see if it helps. Additionally we'll set up a serial link from the C64 to a Windows 10 laptop to transfer a block to solve.

23.04.2021 - 'Vic Nibbler - Release 2' for VIC20 available (free download)
'Vic Nibbler' is a game made in 2019 for the Commodore VIC20 computer with a 3K RAM expansion. Release 2 of Vic Nibbler doubles the number of mazes you will encounter and improves the responsiveness of the controls. Gameplay difficulty has been made a littler fairer, so you should be able to get further into the new waves that you might have done before... but be warned, it rewards good players with the same faster speeds!

This is a deluxe edition of 'Para Lander Mini' which was originally launched as part of the Cassette 50 Charity Competition. Due to the limitations of the size for the competition, the developer decided to make Para Lander DX. It features better graphics, game play, front end, hi score and plenty of music.
