10.07.2021 - C64 game 'Freaky Fish DX Ultimate Edition' released
The final version of Freaky Fish DX has been released - the Ultimate Digital Edition! This is a free update for everyone who purchased the game on itch.io since its launch a year ago and is included in all new purchases. The Ultimate Edition includes everything from the standard game of Freaky Fish DX as well as: - 5 new arctic themed levels (levels 25-30), increasing the number of levels in the game to 30 (plus any hidden levels that may be discovered). - Extended bonus game music. - Various enhancements for NTSC users. - More variety in the bonus games. - A new front end and title screen.

09.07.2021 - Amiga AGA game 'ArtPazz' V1.1 released
ArtPazz is a puzzle game where the player has to piece together the tiles an image has been split into. The size and the shape of the tiles can be adjusted, which allows to set the difficulty to anything from to tremendously easy to brain-wracking. ArtPazz has been designed to be very simple and suitable for all ages, so learning how to play is a matter of minutes or even just seconds. New in V1.1: - Changed keyboard handling so that the system keyboard speed is not altered after quitting the game. - Improved font handling. - Recompiled against ALS v2.0. - Touched up music (in particular, removed the A#3 and B3 notes crackling, and lots of pops). - Improved icons. - Revised manual.

Redpill, the Amiga game creator, is a tool to empower people to create many games for Amiga without programming knowledge. It allows people to create 2D games with the true Amiga feeling. Supports both ECS and AGA Amigas, it is free and it is still in development. List of changes in 0.8.12: - FIX: When camera position moves abruptly, it was causing graphical corruption. - FIX: Fix in Level Editor screen, some buttons not working when a lot of objects were used. - FIX: Fix in Square Grid Slice in Spritesheet screen.

07.07.2021 - Using Commodore 64 BASIC SYS Parameters in Machine Language - new Video from '8-Bit Show And Tell'
Today we're coding an example of how to extend Commodore 64 BASIC SYS commands with parameters that can be used in your machine language program. Instead of just SYS 49152 you can do SYS 49152,X,Y,40*25 or whatever you'd like in your C64 BASIC programs.

'Super Delivery Boy' is a project from NEESO GAMES, made with Scorpion Engine. You can download the ADF file and play it through emulators (WinUAE, FSUAE..) or, if you have the possibility, play it on a real Amiga! Expected release date should be somewhere around winter 2021 (hopefully!) 04.07.2021 - C64 port of 'Galaga' released as preview for download
This port of the old arcade classic is currently still a preview version so that the developer can gather feedback on how it feels compared to the arcade, how much interest there is (the final version will be free of course) and some bug reports while he takes a little break from it. There are debug symbols in the right panel so any screenshots or videos of bugs can be put into some context. it's currently PAL only but I'll work on that.

01.07.2021 - News from '8bit-Strike' - The 8bit Online Shooter (WIP)
Some quick news from the 8bit-Strike development. There are now 4 maps based on the "Arabia" tileset ready: de_desert, de_dust, de_dust2, de_mirage! The draft version of "Tropical" tileset and de_aztec maps are currently being reviewed by TIX. 8bit-Strike is an up-coming online game for the Atari XL/XE, Atari Lynx and Commodore 64/128. The game is in development by 8bit-Dude (code/maps) and TIX (sprites/maps) using the 8bit-Unity game SDK.
