29.06.2020 - New Amiga game 'BlitzWays' released and free for download
'BlitzWays' is an oldschool concentration-demanding puzzle-deconstruction game in the fashion of MahJong and Lin-Wus Challenge. You pick pairs systematically from a large set of tiles and respect certain rules of alignment or accessibility. The game was written for the Amiga 500. 'BlitzWays' is Freeware. The Game is intended for Kids also, probably from the age of 12+. I would have played it when i was 12. Download here.

29.06.2020 - A Commodore SX-64 keyboard restoration documented on retrohax.net
Some time ago, 'Drygol' from retrohax.net was asked to fix a SX-64 keyboard. He never worked on SX-64 gear and he also didn’t know what was wrong with that keyboard. Then some pics arrived and manifested in what bad condition it was. But since he already agreed that he’ll fix it, there was no excuse and the 'party' began...

29.06.2020 - 'EON AGA' - new Amiga game in development
EON is a game designed and published in 2014 for PC by François Perez, also known as Wonderboy Bobi and is currently being recreated from scratch for Amiga AGA / CD32. The devs are also investigating the possibility of investing time in adapting it to Vampire and AmigaNG (MorphOS, AmigaOS4, AROS, etc ...), but this is still not certain, everything will depend on the strengths that remain after finish the AGA version and the interest that we see in those systems. In the technical section of the game, EON is designed to make use of the dualplayfield and scroll parallax for almost the entire game, thus obtaining a visual and gaming experience worthy of an AGA machine. The main development will be for AMIGA AGA with 020 to 14Mhz and 2 Mb of ram, so you will need at least one Amiga 1200 or a CD32.

28.06.2020 - Making a C64/C65 compatible computer - Ultrasonic communications for the MEGAphone: Testing speaker and microphone performance
This might sound like a rather strange thing to be working on, but there is a reason. The NLnet Foundation has taken an interest in the MEGAphone as a secure and "sovereign" communications device, that can play a role in civil society. This largely aligns with what I have previously said about the need for such self-sovereign communications systems in the face of the coming digital winter...

23.06.2020 - SID Anthology: 'To Be On Top' Soundtrack by Chris Huelsbeck as EP Vinyl Edition
This is a crowdfunding project offering a limited special collector's edition golden colored vinyl record (plus Digital Download) for the SID Anthology series, the definitive collection of Original Sound Version recordings from the Commodore C64 by Chris Huelsbeck! To Be On Top was Chris' most ambitious game and music project on the C64. Combining a semi autobiographical adventure game-play with state of the art C64 music that even included sampling was an enormous task at the time. The goal was to create a game where you could arrange your own music piece and try to get to the top of the charts.
