Commodore News - cascade64.de - external linkJochen Heffer's 'Crazy Columns' is a clone of the classic Sega-Genesis game Columns for one or two players, which can be played with joystick or keyboard. Now a demo was released featuring only one of the three game modes and only one difficulty.
15.01.2021 - C64 game 'Rainbow Edge Run DX' released and free for download
Commodore News - cascade64.de - external link'Rainbow Edge Run DX' is an extended full version of the Rainbow Edge Run 4k game that was submitted to the "2020 Reset64 4KB Craptastic Game Competition". This full version includes upgrades like: Title Screen, attract mode, high score table with saver, mystery boxes, status bars and warning signs, different clouds, 3 exclusive music tracks and new and improved sound fx. The digital version is now updated with Petscii documentation. Digital version now also includes a trainer (F8 on title screen to turn on and off). The game will also be available on tape as a physical release from Phoenix Ware.

If the gameplay was to be described in retro game terms it oculd be put it in the centre of a venn diagram of Turrican, The Addams Family and Castlevania3. It will contain more story elements than the average Amiga action platformer, and contains secrets, branching paths, etc.

Commodore News - cascade64.de - external linkAfter Tiny Invaders, Tiny Galaga and Tiny Bobble aBYSs announces: 'Tinyus', a faithful Amiga OCS port of the Arcade Gradius/Nemesis videogame. It needs OCS with 512k Chip and 512k Slowmem or better. The games runs on Amiga 500 but Amiga 1200 (barebone) is recommended for fluid 50fps gameplay. Tinyus features graphics by Fade1/aBYSs, Code & PreTracker music by Pink/aBYSs and reverse engeneering by Bartman/aBYSs. The game will be released soon.
