In this video it is shown how to make an adapter so these common DB9 style joysticks can be connected to a modern PC via USB. Once you understand how it works it is easy to see how you could support lots more features than a few buttons and four directions.

Spider Climber is an infinite running game for the C64. A spinoff of Spiderman's game, written for the "Crazy Climber Challenge" into the Retro Programmers Inside facebook group. The "I Am The C-64" tutorial programs for the Commodore 64 have anti-piracy disk copy protection, despite being written in BASIC, and it's enough to thwart simple "fast" disk copiers. We go through the steps of making a copy of the disk on a real 1541 and KAO 5.25" floppy disk with the help of Maverick's disk nybbler, and then go a step further and "de-protect" the program so a nybbler is no longer necessary.

A friend gave you a shiny LCD game as a present. Its housing is yellow, the screen shows an empty road across a green field below a blue sky. The battery is in a good shape, they say. There is a left and right button on it. You press START. Features: - LCD game simulation, - beautiful multi-color scenery, - controllable via left and right buttons, - lame like a (cheap) real one, - a truly disposable software, - battery included, - It has sounds!

This is a new improved version of Babylon's Ark which is available as a hardware cartridge ("Space Collection", with three other games) for the Commodore 64 available at Bobr Games and Protovision! Story: The last humans have fled earth and live now in a big generation space ship. It is a big ship on a long journey, so eventually some components fail that the robot mechanics can't fix. Now it is your turn, cadet Samuel Fox, to solve the problems and to talk to the inhabitants of the ship which are... a rather unusal combination of people.

It's time for a Commodore PET repair. This machine has an impossible amount off free RAM and some unusual problems. Let's try to figure out what's wrong so I can figure out how to find the exact problem with this machine.
