01.09.2026 - Protovision Shop: WiC64 is back!
The WiC64 - the parallel WLAN interface for Commodore computers with user port connection - is back in stock. Unlike classic modems, it operates with 8 data lines, 2 handshake lines, and one control line, speeding up data transfer by a factor of 20: load 202 blocks / 50kb from the internet in just 2.5 seconds via HTTP:// or TCP! The complete hardware and software is open source, and it ships with the new 2024 firmware.

01.09.2026 - C64 game 'ScartariX' - demo version for download
'ScartariX' is a WIP shoot'em'up for the C64, that's in the making for over a year. Now the developer has decided to a BETA version of the first level. Since it is a beta version, some elements are of course missing, and the game might differ slightly from the final product. Development is nearly complete though, but the music still needs to be added.

31.08.2026 - Amiga game 'Aonic: The Green Hill Zone Demo' - demo version released
'Aonic' is a work-in-progress demo of a port of 'Sonic The Hedgehog' from the Sega Megadrive to the Commodore Amiga 1200 (with 2MB Chip RAM), which is in the work by developer reassembler68k. It is directly based on the original code. Specifically, the disassembly published by the Sonic Retro team. As such, it plays identically, although the rendering has been heavily optimized and rewritten for the Amiga. Visually, there are necessary and obvious differences. This demo is the first Act of Green Hill Zone only and you can get it as digital download for a bargain (name your own price) to support the developer.

31.08.2026 - 'Uchotos' - game for C64 and Plus/4 released - free for download
'Uchotos' is a classic arcade platformer. Avoid or shoot the enemies and collect all stars on screen to reach the next level. Uchotos is the newest game by Japanese developer Inufuto and as always, there are several version for different computer systems. The Plus/4 version can be downloaded here.

30.08.2026 - Plus/4 game 'Paddle Shooter: War At Jupiter' released - free for download
'Paddle Shooter: War At Jupiter' is a shooting game for two players and an updated version of 2008's Paddle Shooter. The interesting thing about this version is the MIDI music, which requires custom hardware: a MIDI OUT card. Be sure to watch the YouTube video to hear what it sounds like! The schematics and Arduino source files are included.

'The Cutters' is a WIP retro adventure game with resource-management elements, developed for the Amiga 1200 AGA. After your grandfather's death, you inherit an old house and a small piece of forest - along with his unpaid debt. To keep the property, you must work hard: cut down and replant trees, process wood, complete orders and develop your small lumber business before time runs out. You can get the game in its current state as digital download for a bargain (name your own price) to support the developer.

'Rotor Repeat' by The New Dimension is the sequel of 'Repetition 64'. It's a challenging shoot 'em up space themed memory game which involves blasting aliens. 'Sparkpaw: The Stormstone Quest' is an original side-scrolling action platformer for the Commodore Amiga 1200. Play as Sparkpaw, an amber-orange feline adventurer and young inventor armed with a teal energy gauntlet, and cross ancient stone-and-machine ruins to recover the scattered Cores of the Stormstone. This public alpha contains the complete first-world route: twelve scrolling screens of platforms, water hazards, ruined machinery, collectibles and clockwork enemies, followed by the Stormkeeper's Waystation and the first Stormstone Core.
