08.06.2026 - Lost C64 games and protos – May 2026 - GTW64 May 2026 update
Almost half way through the year already, and GTW64 has more Commodore 64 goodness for you, with 4 brand-new entries added to the site (Dungeons and Magic, The Sanctuary, Thunder Light, Trap Mission), and 22 existing entries updated. Some new recoveries coming very soon, so watch this space! Little bit late with May due to a holiday, so GTW64 will be back again in less than a month with June’s update.

'Brain Braiser' is a tiny (less then 5KB) turn based strategy logic puzzle for the Commodore Amiga (PAL Amiga 500 KS 1.3 or better). Uses the PAL High-Res resolution (640x256). Outsmart your opponent (either a real person or the computer) and get the higher overall score.

Rex: Into the Shadow Realm is an arcade shooter for Amiga and the second game in the Rex series, following Rex and the Galactic Plague, and is the third game set within the wider Osiris Universe alongside The Osiris Infection. It is the third title developed by Hoyster Games. In this now released demo version you can play the first three levels of Rex: Into the Shadow Realm. Please note: This is an early and in-development version of the game and you may still encounter some issues.

'Petal Panic' is a WIP platofrmer for C64 that mixes tight arcade action with frantic flora-growing mechanics. The world has gotten weird, and only one gardener is equipped to clean it up. Play as Petal Pete and navigate through multi-stage worlds, outsmart bizarre enemies, and face off against screen-filling bosses by planting seeds, sprouting platforms, and fighting back with the power of nature. Remember the golden rule: Plant fast! Fight weird! Petal Panic is currently under development. A playable preview containing three worlds is now free for download.

Joust is a classic arcade game by Williams Electronics, released in 1982. This is an AI assisted port from the original acrade source is for VIC-20 PAL/NTSC +35K. Score by defeating higher-riding enemies. Grab eggs before they hatch, survive later wave pressure, and do not loiter when the pterodactyl starts hunting.
