15.08.2026 - C64 game 'Warlock - Der Ketzer' - preview releasedImagine a first-person RPG shooter, but top-down...and you get Warlock. Note, this is not a rogue-like game. The maps are handcrafted (not procedurally-generated), and there is no "permadeath". It is like playing Heretic but from above. Everything is work in progress, including the (graphics, gameplay, etc.). The final game will have more levels, weapons, monster types, animations, music, sound effects and gameplay elements. You can get this early preview that includes the first 6 levels (and maybe some bugs) as digital download for a bargain (name your own price) to support the developer.
15.08.2026 - C64 game 'Lemmings Reloaded' released - free for download'Lemmings Reloaded' is an unofficial non-commercial fan project of the 1991 DMA classic (C64 version by E&E Software, 1994). Works on real C64 + EasyFlash/GMod2, Commodore 64 Ultimate / U64 family, and VICE, Mouse strongly recommended (1351 or USB via MouSTer / Ultimate). This is a full C64 tribute to the Lemmings legacy, containing 123 levels (3 more than the original Amiga version), mixing classic stages, ports from other systems, and brand-new exclusive levels. Includes 30 SID tracks (over an hour of music) unlock as you progress, playable in the built-in Jukebox. New optional star-rating system (Bronze / Silver / Gold) turns even the “Fun” levels into a fresh challenge. Every achievement is saved on the cartridge. Level Select lets you freely replay any reached stage, view your star ratings, and enter classic access codes when needed.

14.08.2026 - 'Vector Battle' game for VIC-20 and PET released'Vector Battle' is a first-person shooter tank combat game for Commodore PET (32k required) and VIC-20 (16k required) in the style of Battlezone, the 1980 arcade by Atari. You command an armoured fighting vehicle equipped with a forward-firing cannon, defensive shields, radar and a limited fuel supply. Navigate the vector battlefield, locate hostile units, destroy them before they destroy you, and keep your machine supplied with fuel. 13.08.2026 - 'Bio Menace' port for Amiga releasedBio Menace is a 1993 game developed and published by Apogee Software for MS-DOS. Now it got ported to Amiga (Kickstart 2.0 or newer, roughly 1 MB of chip RAM plus some fast RAM (8MB or more). All three episodes, complete and playable and you can get the game as digital download for a bargain (name your own price) to support the developer.
12.08.2026 - C64 version of 'Shikaku' released - free for downloadShikaku is a relaxing Japanese logic puzzle game, now available for the C64 after it was already released for Plus/4 in July 2026. The goal of the game is simple: divide the board into rectangles so that each rectangle contains exactly one number, and its area matches that number. Easy to learn, but increasingly challenging as the puzzles become more complex.
09.08.2026 - Video: Nibbler Amiga (OCS) portEarly footage of a WIP Amiga version of Nibbler, the arcade snake maze video game released in 1982 by Chicago-based developer Rock-Ola. The porting is done once again by developer jotd666, who already delivered a lot of great arcade ports like Commandom, Ghosts'n'Goblins, Track'N'Field, Bad Dudes vs Dragonninja, Gyruss and more. Current status: the game is already running, with some small graphics artefacts.
09.08.2026 - C64 game 'Black Tower II' released - free for download'Black Tower II' is another rogue-like game for the C64. Your goal is to escape from the black tower. To get out you need to collect the six magic items and find the exit. All fights are running automatically and will increase experiences and gold. Hitpoints represent your current strength and will shrink when your health is decreasing. The arrow shows the direction of the exit. You need to collect a crystal ball to see it.

How Many Still Work? - video from 'Mark Fixes Stuff'Seven unknown vintage Commodore 64 computers, one questionable original C64 power supply, and no idea how many of them still work. Before Mark risks powering them up, he build and calibrate an OpenC64Saver to protect the machines from a failed 5V supply.
