Have you already experienced the following:
You got C64 related hardware on second hand market but not the drivers to use it? This can be very annoying! It already happened to me. And because I collected a fair amount of software and drivers for different C64 hardware in the meantime, I thought, it might be of use for others. That's why this section is on this website, though it is not related to Cascade at all...

Additional Utilies for the Expert Cartridge
This is the Driver Disk V2.1 for the Expert Cartridge. The characteristic of the Expert Cartridge was, that it was able to store extra software in its ram, so that the use of the cartridge could be not only self-chosen, but there was furthermore the ability to write new software for it. There are plenty of tools on these disks, like backup, copies, freezers, grabbers, graphic-editors. Sadly I had no chance already to check it all neither to make any use of it.

19.01.2026 - 'Awass' - game for Plus/4 and C64 released - free for download'Awass' is could be best described as a puzzle platformer. Not only you have to be able to quickly navigate and avoid enemies, but you also have to plan ahead and make your own route. The unique mechanism in the game is that you can "scroll" each floor, which changes the location of the ladders. There are 8 stages to clear, they get progressively harder. The game was made by Japanese developer Inufuto and as always, there are several version for different computer systems. The link above is for the Plus/4 and C16 (32k), whilst the C64 version can be downloaded under link above or alternatively here.
