08.11.2026 - Video: Rolling Thunder Amiga AGA port WIP (3)
Rolling Thunder is a 1986 run and gun video game developed and published by Namco for arcades. It was released by Atari Games in North America. Now developer jotd666, who already delivered a lot of great arcade ports like Commandom, Ghosts'n'Goblins, Track'N'Field, Bad Dudes vs Dragonninja, Gyruss and more, is working on an Amiga port. The game is still WIP but well advanced. In this video we are witnessing the whole level 1 and part of level 2. Requires AGA + 8MB fastmem. 68030 recommended but will run on plain 68020, and absolutely flies on real 68060 hardware.

Last year Rob brought you a different simple spooky Amiga game called GhostLight. This year he re-visited it with some upgrades and released it as GhostLight 2! To make some of the new effects work he had to make some extensive rendering changes but it's all still done with Amos. In this video Rob talks you through how a lot of that works without even touching any of the code!

'Amiga 1942' is a fanmade port of the famous 1984 vertically scrolling shooter arcade game from Capcom. Coded old school from the ground up, using AsmOne. All maps and enemy patterns built from scratch, by watching gameplay videos. No AI was used to make this game. Minimum System requirements: OCS PAL Amiga. Runs on ECS and AGA as well, Floppy version: 512K chip mem, and 512K any mem, HD version: 512K chip mem, and 1Mb any mem. WHDLoad 17+.

This demo was originally prepared for the NRG 2026 competition. It gives you a glimpse of two locations from the full game and you can get it as digital download for a bargain (name your own price) to support the developer.

This game is a C64 version of the Chinese sliding block puzzle 'Huarong Road'. Slide the pieces of the opposing army to allow Cao Cao (the largest piece) to exit the board. This game features 6 possible initial patterns to solve. Try and solve them in the lowest amount of moves possible.
