Mat Mania, known in Japan as Exciting Hour: The ProWrestling Network or simply Exciting Hour, is a 1985 wrestling video game developed by Technōs Japan and published by Taito for arcades and is regarded as a spiritual successor to the 1983 arcade game Tag Team Wrestling. 17.10.2026 - VIC-20 port of 'Commando' released - free for download
Commando, the famous run and gun video game developed and published by Capcom in 1985 for arcades, that was ported to many systems, now also gets a version for VIC-20 (+35K extra RAM, disk drive or D64 reader). Even the arcade level, that was missing in the original C64 version was added.

17.10.2026 - VIC-20 port of 'Preppie' released - free for download
'Preppie!' is an action video game for Atari 8-bit computers published by Adventure International in 1982. Like Frogger, the player must cross lanes of traffic, then jump between floating objects to reach the other side of a river. This port for VIC-20 needs 35 extra RAM.

17.10.2026 - VIC-20 port of 'Purple Turtles' released - free for download
'Purple Turtles' is a classic skill-based game for the C64, released in 1983 by publisher Quicksilva, which was ported to VIC-20 (PAL ONLY) + 35 extra RAM. The player controls a small character and must cross a pond to collect falling fruit (such as apples or bananas) for a hungry owl on the other side.

'Missile Command' is a 1980 shoot 'em up video game developed and published by Atari, Inc. for arcades. This version for VIC-20 (+24K extra RAM, Joystick or Amiga Mouse) is a direct port of the Atari 2600 game.

'Obsidian Sky' is a vertical shoot 'em up for the C64 with 7 stages, 7 giant bosses and a weapon system. Clear the Obsidian Sky of the dark fleet. Fly over an asteroid field, a space station, an alien mothership, a nebula, a gas giant and a war zone, down to the edge of a black hole, and bring down the giant boss waiting at the end of each stage. 'Star Force', released in North America as Mega Force, is a 1984 vertically scrolling shooter video game developed and published by Tehkan for arcades. You must pilot a spaceship (Final Star) over series series of islands - drifting in outer-space - shooting enemy spacecraft and ground-based targets. Special symbols appear at regular intervals and can be shot or collected for bonuses. The levels are designated by letters of the Greek alphabet. 'Dungeon Raider' is a dungeon crawler for C64. You entered a dungeon seeking fame and fortune exception this dungeon offers neither.
