30.09.2026 - Plus/4 game 'Stardew Pond' released - free for download
'Stardew Pond' is a small farming game for the Plus/4: a farm that has gone to seed, a village with a store and a blacksmith, three villagers to make friends with, and a mine with thirty floors of rock, ore and monsters, over one year. Stardew Pond is modelled on Stardew Valley by Eric Barone (ConcernedApe), released in 2016, but it is a much smaller game. A fan-made proof of concept - how much of such a game gets onto a 1984 home computer.

30.09.2026 - Video: Dune II Enhanced Amiga Mod – Modern RTS Controls, Multiselect & Drag Selection!
Work is currently underway on a new mod for the original Amiga version of Dune II. The idea is not to develop a remake or a new engine, but to directly enhance the original Amiga game with quality-of-life features and modern RTS controls, without altering the classic presentation and gameplay. The first major feature that is now working is the ability to select multiple units.

'Bitmap Pixies' is a fast paced single screen arcade-style game, that was released exclusive for patreons of ZZAP! 64 Micro Action in December 2025. Move around with joystick in either port and collect all pixies to progress to next level, no fire button needed in this game. Collecting the colors in correct order is rewarded both in time and points so pay attention to the sequence. You can get the game as digital download for little money (name your own price) to support the developer.

Ribbed tubes, xenomorph skulls, egg chambers, bone cathedrals and resin hives scroll past in smooth, pixel-by-pixel hardware scrolling while you blast your way through six long stages to six giant bosses. Features 6 stages, 6 giant bosses, power-up bar, fair collisions, original SID soundtrack with 8 tunes. 'C64 Tennis' is an unofficial fan port of Tennis, Nintendo's 1989 Game Boy game. It's not a remake: the original Game Boy game code was translated instruction by instruction into 6502 assembly. Ball physics, player movement, the CPU opponent and the scoring rules all behave like the original. The C64's larger screen shows the whole Game Boy stadium at once, pixel for pixel, with no scrolling: the court, the colourful crowd and Mario in the umpire's chair.

The Royal Navy will continue to pursue you but be warned if you stir the waters up too much with cannon fire you just just might awaken something far worse. Never fear though as mermaids will assist you along the way. Survive long enough and you can upgrade your ship via a gift from King Neptune. The Jolly Roger sets sail, will you join?
