01.01.2022 - C64 game 'Retaliate DX' released
'Retaliate DX' is an 8-bit reimagining of a mobile/Roku game by Romans I XVI, developed by Marcelo Lv Cabral, Trevor Storey, Richard Bayliss, Antonio Savona and Jon Eggleton for the Commodore 64/128 personal computer. Published by RGCD and Psytronik Software in 2021. 31.12.2021 - C64 game 'Apeshit' released
'Apeshit', a fast onebutton reaction game for the Commodore 64 by Megastyle, is a one button game where you jump from tree to tree while you try to avoid the scary insects. On the left tree Ape slides down the trunk, and on the right side ape climb up. Try to pick up bananas to gain extra points, but watch it so you don't jump into a branch while trying to pick it up. You can get the game as digital download for a bargain (name your own price).

31.12.2021 - More footage on WIP Amiga game 'Amidar'
This remake of Amidar, the 1982 arcade game, for Amiga 500 is still work in progress (but almost complete). Several bugs are present in this video, specially in the end, but it gives a good idea on how well it is going already.

30.12.2021 - V1.2 update for C64 game 'Scramble Infinity' released
This brilliant looking remake of Scramble from Mirage/Focus with music by Jammer/MSL was released on the Zzap 2022 annual coverdisk which was part of a yearly kickstarter. The new version is the non-commercial scene release and now has hi-score table saving support.

29.12.2021 - Commodore Amiga 1000 Restoration - new video from 'The 8-Bit Guy'
The 8-Bit Guy started to work on an Amiga documentary about two years ago and one of the things he needed for it, was an stock Amiga 1000. He only had one that was modified. Finally, he now got a stock machine as donation, but it needs some restoration service.

29.12.2021 - New C64 game 'Lane Crazy' announced as free digital download coming January 2022

The recently released C64 port of "Sonic the Hedgehog" from the SEGA Master System has been updated again. This new versiona few more bugs that were found: - Fixed hang on SuperCPU during SEGA logo, - Fixed checkpoint behaviour after using a continue, - Fixed special stages appearing after a boss fight, - Fixed Sonic’s idle time check

27.12.2021 - PDF Retro magazine REV'n'GE issue #129 for download
REV'n'GE (Retro Emulator Vision and Game) is an Italian and English language PDF magazine, not only for Commodore fans, that mainly focus on game REViews.

26.12.2021 - 'Doomball' for Plus/4 released
Like for the C64, also the Plus/4 got it's port of DoomBall, a Commodore PET conversion of 'POLF: the game of balls and holes' by David Given. Search the maze for the ball and move it into the hole. The game is free for download.
