09.12.2021 - WIP C64 game 'Cruiser-X 79' - Playable Preview 2 released
The New Dimension, in collaboration with Saul Cross presents 'Cruiser-X 79', a fast paced vertical scrolling shoot 'em up inspired by many top down classics. Today a playable demo of the 2021 version for playing online or downloading (PAL only) was launched. This game itself is currently under development, but it is hoped to get finished some time in 2021 or perhaps later. The full game hopes to consist of the following features (unless featured otherwise): - Plenty of levels of pure blasting action. - Varied alien attack patterns. - Intro. - Hi Score table list. - Power ups. - Additional in game music for each level. - Multi-load system that supports SDIEC devices. - PAL/NTSC Compatible. - Complete instruction manual. - Free downloadable full game

08.12.2021 - New Minimig-AGA Core (211207) and Firmware (211207) for MIST Board available
The MIST board was designed to implement classic 16 bit computers like the Amiga and Atari ST(E) as System-on-a-Chip using modern hardware. But it equally well supports 8 bit systems like the Atari XL, ZX81, ZX Spectrum, C64, Atari VCS, Atari 5200, Colecovision, Apple II, Sega Master System, NES, Odyssey2 and more. New in Minimig-AGA 211207: - Add analogue joystick support (turn on in Chipset menu). - Digital joystick also affects POT registers (fix Jimmy White's whirlwind snooker). - Update RTG, support screen dragging, update the utility disk (by AMR)New in firmware 211207: - Add support for the second stick on gamepads (4 axes/gamepad). Tested only on one model yet. - Add analogue joystick scaling (joystick_analog_multiplier, joystick_analog_offset options). - Restructured menu engine. Easier maintenability, less flash space. As this is a rather large change, report any issues or menu navigation anomalies.

08.12.2021 - New WIP Amiga game 'Carves & Cargo' - demo version available for download
In 'Carves & Cargo' you have to collect cargo crates in a cave system with a jet glider and bring them back to the base. You are constantly fighting against gravity and sometimes against enemies. ....that sounds familiar to you? Caves & Cargo is heavily inspired by Gravity Force. The game is not quite finished yet. Technically it is (except for a LOT of bugs and some smaller things...), but it stops after some missions/levels.

Finally, the popular C64 action puzzler Millie & Molly by Carleton Handley is back available in the Protovision online store. Millie & Molly is a single screen puzzle platform game where you need to help Millie and Molly clear their world of malicious monsters by walking into them from the side. There are 100 levels in total and each time you complete a level you are given a password, allowing you to come back to the game at later stages and continue you on from where left off.
