15.02.2022 - 'Glamorous Zombie Flakes' - new experimental Amiga builds released
Glamorous Zombie Flakes is an old-school, console-style RPG where the player must guide Katherine, Lydia, and friends as they join a modeling agency and then use their talents to cure zombies of their bizarre affliction. Two additional Amiga releases have been now added to address reported issues with the original. The first one, gzfamigafix.zip uses a different OS routine to set the color palette, as the old palette routine may run slower than expected on AGA systems. The second build, gzfamigafix2.zip, also contains experimental support for CD32 gamepads.

13.02.2022 - New C64 port of 'Berzerk' released
This port of the old arcade hit from 'Stern' was once again made by Arlasoft. Your goal in 'Berzerk' is to clear each screen of robots and then leave via one of the exits, avoiding the electrified walls. Doing so will earn you a bonus, but leaving a screen before all the robots are killed will cause you to be labelled a chicken and forfeit any bonus. You can get the game as digital download for a bargain (name your own price).

11.02.2022 - The VIC-10 and VIC-30 - Commodore UKs Cancelled Computers - new video from '8-Bit Show And Tell'
In 1982, Commodore UK was planning a full range of home microcomputers to meet every budget. The VIC-20 was a success, and they wanted to add a VIC-10 at an even lower price point, and a 16K VIC-30 to sit below the upcoming top-end CBM-64 or VIC-64, which ended up being called the Commodore 64. But rapidly changing market conditions, led by the release of the ZX Spectrum, meant there was ultimately no place for the VIC-10 (aka Ultimax or Commodore Max Machine) in the UK, and the VIC-30 was quietly shelved. We'll look through several UK-based Commodore magazines from 1982 to figure out the story behind these little-known computers that were cancelled, relegating the VIC-30 to vapourware and the VIC-10 / MAX to only the Japanese market.
