26.01.2022 - 'Scorpion Engine' for Amiga - 2022.1 update released
There is an update for the Game Construction Erik 'earok' Hogan's 'Scorpion Engine', which is supposed to enable the development of games that run on an A500 with a screen refresh of 50 Hz. The editor itself runs under Windows. Graphics are imported as PNG files, the Tiled editor is used to create levels. Amiga formats (mod, 8svx, anim5) are used for sounds, music and animations.

REV'n'GE (Retro Emulator Vision and Game) is an Italian and English language PDF magazine, not only for Commodore fans, that mainly focus on game REViews.

24.01.2022 - C64 compilation 'The Arlasoft Collection' released and free for download
'The Arlasoft Collection' is a cartridge image file (.crt) containing all 24 of Arlasoft's C64 releases as of January 2022. Features: - Instant menu system to quickly select the game you wish to play. - A pdf booklet containing information on how to play and background on each game. - Compatible with TheC64 and TheC64 mini. - Individual disk images (.d64) or program files (.prg) for all games. - Source code in KickAssembler format

24.01.2022 - WIP Amiga game 'Creeping Me Out: Hex Night' - Frog Boss
In this video we see a very nearly finished froggy boss beneath the swamp. 'Creeping Me Out: Hex Night' is going to be an action platformer in the vein of Turrican & Castlevania, made in Scorpion Engine. A demo version is available now. Get the download and more information from here.

'Drag & Drop' is a new little Amiga (ECS, OCS, AGA) game based on the polpular "Block Puzzle" and made with AMOS. You can get the game as digital download for a bargain (name your own price).

23.01.2022 - C64 game 'Phase Out LPE 2.1' released as digital download
Phase Out was originally created for the RGCD C64 16k Cartridge Competition 2013. This level pack edition (LPE) now contains 50 more reloadable levels (level pack summer 2018) on the disk image which can be loaded after finishing the last 50 previuos levels. If you like puzzle based games where you need to match the colours, then this is the game for you. The game is available as digital download for little money.

22.01.2022 - How It Was Made: THE COMMODORE 64 - new video from 'Retro Recipes'
Using new machine learning algorithms, a digitally remastered version was made of the only known low-quality footage of the Commodore 64 & 6502 factory production process, to better show how the world's bestselling computer was made!
