29.03.2023 - Tiki Project - New C64 game - Preview 2
This second preview of the re-imagining of the Tiki character from The New Zealand Story in a brand new C64 game being developed by Robert Wilson adds an additional enemy from Level 1-1 of the original arcade game to see how it looks and given it a new colour palette and overlay to enhance its look. Both the snail and crab look quite close to the originals. It's limited to just two frames of animation for both, to keep number of sprites in my sprite bank to a minimum. Both enemies are the same sprites just multiplexed. No collision detection so far yet in this preview.

28.03.2023 - Amiga game 'Xevious1200' released as Beta version
Xevious is a vertically scrolling shooter arcade video game developed and published by Namco in 1982. 'Xevious1200' is the transcode from the original arcade game (multiple Z80s) to 68K assembly for Amiga 1200 (as the name suggests). The core transcode is 100% complete. One "last" gameplay bug to be confirmed. You can get the game as digital download for a bargain (name your own price). Features: - identical game play to the original arcade game, including the pseudo-random number generation. - original dipswitch options supported (except cocktail cabinet mode). - all original graphics and colours reproduced perfectly on Neo Geo target. - 1 or 2 players supported. - high score load/save

22.03.2023 - 'Cracky' also got its C64 release - free for doenload
Cracky is a new platformer game written by Japanese developer Inufuto. Already released for Plus/4 (see below) and several other 8-bit platforms, it now got its C64 version. Clear each level by collecting all the stars, while avoiding the baddies and keep an eye on the floors. Some parts crack when you walk over them once, creating holes in the platforms, giving the possibility to reach otherwise unreachable stars. You can download a tape image (.tap) here.
