Cascade on other platforms
Yeah, finally Cascaders infiltrated other platforms besides C64 and Amiga. Well, of course this website was always a proof, that we didn't got completely stuck solely on retro machines, but now we can also present real releases for alternative platforms. Okay, it's only one, at the moment :-), but hopefully we'll manage to upload more stuff in the future.

Here we have a neat oldschool style demo/music collection completely made in Javascript - no Flash was used. Coded by Phazor using a JS framework called CODEF (more info and examples can be found here). Select different musics by pressing space.
You can watch this demo offline by downloading, depacking and starting it with double click on "index.html", or, if you prefer to be lazy, simply click here and enjoy. Please note though, that the demo might run a bit too slow on weak powered mobile devices.

26.11.2025 - Plus/4 emulator YAPE 1.2.7 releasedYAPE is a decent no-nonsense Plus/4 emulator thats being developed for 10+ years. It is available in Windows as well as multiplatform editions. Another batch of bugs have been fixed and some new functionality was added, too. Here are the details: - new 64-bit 'Developer' build with trace window instead of the old 32-bit one, - more informative trace window, - new asynchronous keyboard input mode (positional mapping) as a fallback for DirectInput, - added option to turn off legacy (old MMSYSTEM based) joystick support, - improved TV vertical retrace emulation, - proper CRC checksum for 1581 disk headers (drive ROM no more patched), - better aspect ratio with multiline menu bars, - SID card detection via paddle port, - saving to video without sound now works, - IEC folder directory bugfix, - tape play & stop button sense regressions, - odd tape load error caused by long pulses
