After a break of 4 years, there is an update on the C64 Scene Magazine Archive. Besides that the website has a new website layout , there is the long awaited Update #11. This update includes bug fixes, rare magazines as well as a general tidy up of the entire collection.

17.02.2020 - New teaser for W.I.P. Amiga game 'Scourge of the Underkind'
The game has the rough title 'Scourge of the Underkind', but may change in time. It will be a free game for the Amigas. Gameplay-wise expect a mixture of Gods, Chaos Engine, Alien Breed.

14.02.2020 - Graphic editor 'CharPad 2.6' for C64 released
CharPad is a graphics data editing tool that facilitates the production of graphics data in a format compatible with the legendary Commodore 64 home computer. It's available as free version but also as 'Thalamus Edition', which is an evolution of the original CharPad tool that contains some useful additional features, most of which have been commissioned by Thalamus Digital Publishing during the latter half of 2019 to assist in the development of their own games.

12.02.2020 - C64 game 'Millie and Molly' just released
Millie and Molly is a retro inspired puzzle game coded and designed by industry veterans for original Commodore 64 hardware and emulators. We teamed up with the most talented people in the C64 scene including Saul Cross for the graphics and Hasse Axelsson-Svala for the music.

12.02.2020 - C128 game 'Bucket Wars 128' released
This is a single map, Tactics game in the Fire Emblem style. Fire to select a unit, you can then move in the blue area. Press fire again to either accept the move, or enter combat preview if enemies are in range. Use left/right to switch targets and fire to initiate attack. To win get your Lord/swashbuckler to the middle of the castle at the bottom right. The enemy lord must also be dead.

10.02.2020 - C64 game 'Spearhead' (SEUCK) released
Entry #3 for the SEUCK Compo 2020. It is time for some classic shoot 'em up style action with Alf Yngve's latest blaster. Spearhead features some huge sprites and plenty of explosive action packed game play.

09.02.2020 - New C64 RPG game 'Hired Sword 2' available for pre-order
This CRPG is announced by Double Sided Games, coming 3rd of April. Features: top-down RPG, racy and fun storytelling, 20 maps to explore, including 9 dungeons, 36 types of monsters, Weapons and armour randomly generated (1000+ combinations). The Story: You live in a world full of magic, monsters, and maidens. Normally a mercenary, or a hired sword, your are now on a search for a seductive elf with long flowing white hair that captured your interests, and although you hate to admit it, perhaps your heart.

07.02.2020 - New C64 game 'Major Blink' released
'Major Blink' was originally released for C16 in 1985 and is the second game of the so called 'Berks' trilogy. Take the role of Major Blink, the creator of the Berks, who has now become a painter and paint all blocks from all sides while avoiding drones and bears.

07.02.2020 - K&Aplus magazine #13 and #14 now available for free

Beloved game oldie 'Kaiser', a game that once helped starting the typical german style economic simulations, has been translated to english by the scene group 'Excess'.

06.02.2020 - 1990's Amiga games publishing label 'Mutation Software' is returning
They announce to re-release range of hand signed limited edition boxed remastered retro games in Physical form on floppy disk, for true Amiga collectors everywhere. Plus they're now developing a NEW game for release in both Physical and Digital form on Amiga later in 2020 too!

06.02.2020 - GoADF! 2.2 released
The shareware programm (7 Euro) GoADF! can read and write ADF files and, among others, can mount them as virtual drives. New features: new option for convert images from ADZ/ADF/DMS to HFE, support XVS library - now GoADF! detect bootblock viruses while loading the image, and will check all sectors on demand, optimizing procedures for loading and analyzing images, when write disk to ADF, GoADF! uses the name of the source volume that is mounted as default filename and checks if the file extension is present, if not it automatically append.
