Combining a semi autobiographical adventure game-play with state of the art C64 music that even included sampling was an enormous task at the time. The goal was to create a game where you could arrange your own music piece and try to get to the top of the charts.

When he started with HAL, he made a Galaxian clone called Star Battle for the VIC-20 which was released in 1981. Coder 'Peiselulli', who is well known in C64 world for his 'Boulder Dash' clone called 'Flaschbier' since the 80s, has now released a compilation disk with a collection of his non commercial games from the last decades. Some pretty nifty stuff is offered here, namely: Flaschbier, Double Digger, Fort of Narzod, Spike, Minestorm, Jars Revenge and Kong Arcade. Some games are updated versions with minor bugfixes. And the best thing: The disk is free for download.
