In this video 'Jan Beta' shows us how he's doing restoration work on a machine he dreamed about ever since he was a kid: the original Amiga, better known today as the Commodore Amiga 1000!

This is the third WIP video for the coming C64 conversion of 'Fix It Felix Jr.', the game that was featured in the film 'Wreck It Ralph'. The whole project is seemingly now feature complete, and should be released shortly. In this video we see a run through in a full game on a medium difficulty setting.

If you want to get an impression of how 'Tiny little Slug' is playing, there is now the possibility to download a disk image with a demoversion. This Classic Amiga game is available either on CD, floppy disks or as a download file. A basic Amiga 500 is sufficient to enjoy playing it, though more expanded 68k Amiga systems or a CD32 are also supported. The game can be ordered here.

This game is a homage to 'H.E.R.O.' from John Van Ryzin published by Activision in 1984. Usually I don't mention retro styled PC games, but this remake seems to be quite faithful in comparison to old the original, though this version contains completely new levels.

here's a new update at GTW64, with a number of 4 new entries and 16 updates. Entries that were added: Catch’em, Lordlings of Yore, Reader's Digest Software, Underland. Updated are: Batman Returns, Big Top, Civilization, Elevator, Enemy, Exodus, Labyrinth, Legendary Deed, Lemmings V1, Nuker, Pet Person, Quest for Eternity, Star Force Seven, Stellar 7, Warcraft 64, Worms

This is an unusual but great Amiga 500 demo effort by the scene group 'Oxygen', offering more than 12 hours of best Atari-ST demoscene music history running on a single Amiga floppy. Get the disk file here.

This time Robin from '8-Bit Show And Tell' is fiddling around with COBOL on the C64 and asks himself, if it's possible to make COBOL interesting? He tried by porting 10 PRINT to a Commodore 64 implementation of COBOL.

This is another new Amiga game that was released and presented on the Revision Demoparty 2020. 'ZGR3D' is a logical arcade game for classic Amiga computers and even runs on A1000 (512kb of memory). The player's task is to avoid being squeezed through the crystal blocks. The game is free for download directly here.

'Kobo64' is an 8-way scrolling shoot ‘em up in which you must clear each of 50 levels by destroying any of the space stations, your enemy - the Kobonian Empire - has established. You can download a digital copy for free, but you can (and should) also support the developers and grab a physical copy here, which comes boxed with a vinyl sticker, an A3 poster, full-colour manual and even a postcard.

This new Amiga game was just released and presented on the Revision Demoparty 2020. It's a nice reminiscent of a series of C64 platformer games about Fred - a legendary C64 persona - who fondly remembers his past journeys. Deciding to relive his adventures he heads out again! The game is free for download directly here.

'The Lord of Dragonspire' is an exciting RPG adventure for the C64 in the style of the old classic 'Master of Magic'. Your aim is to find the entrance to Dragonspire. Work your way up the spire then locate and destroy the Demon Lord. The game features a huge map to explore, a stunning 10 minute Rob Hubbard inspired soundtrack by Jason Page, detailed character sprites and portraits, end sequence and more.

Great news from 'Protovision': As they just stated, their C64 game 'Sam's Journey' was sold incredible 2500 times! Must not be the last record, there are still enough packages on stock in their shop (hint, hint) :-)

A video shows a sneak peek at the ongoing C64 shmup project called 'ZAP FIGHT 3', made by Alf Yngve, with testing fully functioning power-ups.

Freshly announced by Fusion Retro Books: "With the CPC version now out with readers, it is now time to focus on the Commodore Amiga - many features have already been written and this 52-page special is well into production. Check out the cover by Trevor Storey above, with the Amiga 500 docking in a nearby hanger."

'AmigaBill' is interviewing Slamy, the developer of 'Tiny Little Slug', a new Amiga game released in 2020, on his weekly Amiga live stream. There is lots of live footage and information about the game in this video, which can be ordered here.
